Yes Fury won rounds, but he wasn't winning by far. AJ on the other hand was closer to Usyk throughout the entire fight. Losing most rounds, but not as bad as Fury lost, Fury was KO'd. The ref saved him pure and simple. He could not have won that fight pal and will not win in the remach unless something drastically changes. Usyk had fury in the back foot for the first 4 round and round 9 the ref saved him let’s be honest the ref saved him but he was knocked out as the ropes helped him to stay up. That’s an official knockdown in boxing which is why he got a count. Fair play to fury standing his ground the last 3 rounds but Usyk didn’t push as hard at the end. Rightly so cos fury landed uppercuts in 5-7. That broken nose in 8 messed fury up to be fair. Either way Usyk won the fight.

The ref also saved Anthony Joshua against Andy Ruiz. The ref could have stopped the fight after AJ suffered two knock downs in the third round and failed to follow referee's instructions. The ref tried to save AJ again in the 7th round. He gave him 28 seconds after the final knock down before waving off the fight. Judge Glenn Feldman robbed Usyk of UD victory against AJ

If Fury throws more punches in the first six rounds, he’ll be more likely to win. He too often admired his work after landing a good shot and became careless at times. He did that against Wilder and Nganou and paid the price for it in the Usyk fight too. Hope he learns the lesson for the rematch!
