People don't understand why boxers quit against Loma but until you've been in the ring with someone who completely dominates you in that fashion you'll never understand. What Loma does his opponents is borderline torture. It's easier to stay in a fight until someone KOs you or until the Ref stops the fight but Loma never finishes his opponents. He never puts them out of their misery. He just slaps his opponents around at will leaving them feeling like their is absolutely nothing that can be done about it. He KOs his opponents psychologically. This dude literally got reflexes like a cat. Yall really don't understand. But, It would take an ambidextrous fighter like Terrence Crawford to even have a chance against Loma. That's just real shit.

Loma did nothing in the fight. He was simply more active. Rigo never left 1st gear, and could've been paid off to throw the fight? Loma actually didn't look spectacular this fight. That's against a guy that literally barely threw a punch. Rigo basically had nothing to lose/gain, outside of clout and honor. Everyone has a price tho! I truly believe w/the money rigo may've gotten under the table, he'll go away and retire? He seemed very content and dismissive. He never seemed flabbergasted by loma's ability. Compare that w/manny who was outraged floyd beat him, and was sure he won etc. Loma post fight: "He's king of boxing, but in his weight" Rigo post fight: "He's very good and quick, but normal. The weight wasn't a factor, just I hurt my hand in the second". No excuses, he won. How do you hurt a hand, when you barely threw punches? Rigo is retiring. He knows no 1 wanted to fight him before, and after sat, he'll never get another fight. If the pool for this fight was $3m, loma got $1.2m and rigo $400k. $1.6m is missing. Give rigo what he wants, which is a decent sum of money, and he'll throw the fight. The bribe being, "you'd never see that kind of money again, you're 37". Loma's 27/28 and in his prime. If you beat him, no1 in hell would fight you. His career goes on another 7-8yrs. So he'll make money. You? You're finished win or lose. Throw the fight, get the money ($2m) and go away".

He is: but even loma said this isn't a great victory, WALTERS, SOSA, quit but they were moving up from a lower weight class. Loma needs to fight more fighters his own size or at least someone that won't quit. Like Mayweather moved up many times to 130 and knocked down a KO puncher in Corales knocking him down 5 times and then out, then moving up to 152 against a bigger stronger Canelo. I'd like to see Loma fight some bigger stronger fighters. I guess they are afraid though.

Yes! With that outstanding amateur record, 396 - 1, against qualified opponents, multiple european-, world and olympic champion, he has faced only highly competitive opponents as professional which you cannot say about neither of the above. To outbox Rigo like he just did. Reminds me about Roy Jones Jr vs Toney once upon a time. Wow! And then Walters too! And Russel Jr! He faces the best when they are still up there. Compare that to Floyd eventhough I have the outmost respect for him too.

Loma made him look like a RANK AMATEUR. Arum KNEW from day 1 that Loma was going to dominate the game. In his 1st 11 fights he's already made 4 guys QUIT, and won 2 world titles, and NOT to mention beat 3 P4P fighters. This is the most talented fighter since Roy jones Jr. BTW HBO really F#cked up not having this fight on their channel, looks like SOMEONE on HBO does not know their AZZZ from their ELBOW!!!

Vasily Lomachenko (10-1, 8 KOs) became the new leader in the p4p rating (regardless of the weight category) according to the ESPN version. The Ukrainian, who defeated Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-1, 11 KOs) ahead of schedule and defended the WBO world title in the second featherweight, bypassed the list of the WBA, WBC, IBF, IBO champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0-1 , 33 KOs). Third place is taken by American Terence Crawford (32-0, 23 KOs), who in 2017 collected all the belts in the first middleweight. Also note that the first ten dropped out the already mentioned Rigondeaux, who previously occupied the seventh line. The top 10 rating of p4p from ESPN on December 13, 2017 is as follows: 1. Vasily Lomachenko - 102 points 2. Gennady Golovkin - 99 3. Terence Crawford - 91 4. Saul Alvarez - 73 5. Keith Thurman - 46 6. Errol Spence-ml. - 39 7. Mikey Garcia - 35 8. Sergey Kovalev - 31 9. Naoya Inoue - 19 10. Deontey Wilder - 15 Note that ESPN makes its rating by voting permanent 11 experts who distribute boxers in places. Five experts put Golovkin and Lomachenko in first place. The Ukrainian was on the second position in the list of four specialists, and the third one had two more. Golovkin received three second, two third and one fifth place. Thus, Basil scored 102 points, and Gennady - 99.

Loma dominates on every side of the ring, his quicknes, smartness, tehnique, stamina, speed and power is on new level to every opponent he meets, they try to get him but it's not so easy, recieve from him blow - huh, take 2 or maybe 3? Ooooh you want supplement - here you go! That factors destroy opponents mentally. Loma brought to box new era. He'll become the legend. As for me, Matrix is on top P4P.

i'm actually rather enjoying hearing this old guy speak... i mean, he's probably seen it all in boxing and certainly knows better than to make bold and intrepid claims seeing how many times absolutely certainty turned out to be wrong in boxing over the years... and he is just so confident in this one fighter that he basically laughs and disregards any idea of someone beating him "i mean, come on, who's going to beat this guy?" lomachenko really is something different... it's weird and befuddling to hear his detractors... i mean, what are they seeing?... he is making professional tough guys QUIT... like little bitches... it's UNHEARD OF.... has there EVER been 4 no mas's in a row?... let alone of guys this caliber?... it's absolutely nuts what we're seeing

All true, Lomachenko's dynamic approach and total dedication showed. Still, Rigondeaux showed his age, looked tired on the stool; and hurt hand or not, he needed to go balls out with everything he had, angry as hell--before quitting. He is "old" and needs to retire. Disappointing to those who supported him as the underdog. Too safe. Would like to know who was Lomachenko's best opponent pound for pound age for age, talent for talent. Is he the next Pacquiao?

Senior citizen Salido whipped Loma. the reasons these other fighters quit is because they don't know how to face technically superior fighters. They don't want to get knocked out they are afraid to take risks and turn it into a dog fight. Rigo is a typical Cuban fighter they always quit when facing opposition that is either their equal or better. I've never seen a Cuban boxer that hasn't quit when facing a tough challenge.

Look Loma is killing it and uniquely talented. You still can't nsay he is smart with his career. He fought a world champ in his second pro fight. I get it hw had a long amateur career, but even with all that talent his unique abilities that early career move cost him. It didn't cost him anything in boxing it cost him general public knowledge of him and possible hundred million dollar fights. Dont think im right? Then you don't get the fact that Floyd being undefeated was his only draw to many in the general public.

Rigo hurt his hand, huh? Don't you have to throw and land punches for that to happen? It must have been an AIRline fracture lol.

Loma simply too skilled, too quick.... double Gold medalist, would school Floyd. Made easy work of Rigo, who Freddy Roach said was the "best boxer he's ever seen."

Daniel Moreno Hmmm... I didn't see where Rig hurt his hand, I didn't see where Rig was struggling, I didn't see where Rig was putting effort into the fight. Maybe I just cant see... And when you provide your comparisons, I don't see it there either. It was just a great disappointment that I wonder whether the defining factor came down to money over legacy. 75%- 25% is a good starting point. By time Rig pays all his team, he should get $50k... Great job uh?

Kelvin Hamilton That boy did not injure his hand Rigo is just trying to save face. BAHAHAHAHAHA I saw him struggling as well as the rest of the world I guess it was just to much boxing skills that you cannot give credit where it's due, must be a low key racist, sad. What can we say, be negotiated the contract. Just like a lot of Floyd's opponents, they just get what they deserve

Rigo lost the respect to the Box Sport in the last time . HE destroyed Donaire and then He got no more fight Santa Cruz and other champions didnt want to fight Rigo . Rigo went to Tokio and England to fight cause all this so called champions have fear in Fronting Rigo , Rigo was so frustrated and boring of the Profi box Sport that He went 2 weight class over to fight Loma . People Loma didnt brought nothing in especial in Front Rigo . But Rigondeaux made the same shit what He experienced on his box Profi career . This fight was really without Rigondeaux . Maybe Arum programmed Rigo defeat Rigo destroyed Donaire and Donaire was the big Business of Arum

If my memory serves me correctly Salido has a win over Lomachenko. Bobby is just pushing his fighter. With Pacquiao out of the picture Lomachenko is being groomed to become Arums new cash cow. As for the best 135 pounders, look for Arum to make them a shitty money offer with a maximum number of options for future fights. They will turn down the offer and then be accused of not wanting to fight Loma. Calumny is one of Arum's specialties. He is currently working on HBO sports head Peter Nelson. He cuts a deal with ESPN then blames Nelson for his moves. Double talk is Arums forte. Come on, don't you see how special my Lomachenko is. He is a scientist, a one in a million, even his shit smells like fresh daisies in the mourning air. The press at the fight are guests beholding to Bobby and maybe on his payroll. The above statements are my opinion.

BoxingHacker the fight played out exactly how I predicted it a month before. Rigo too small, too stationary, and I even called out the fact that the duck low left and pivot defence wouldnt work.
