Good interview. But if Shakur was greatly confident of his skills he would have engaged De Los Santos instead of running, ducking, and hopping around, afraid to punch, in fear of being countered and knocked out. No fighter can be great if they will always freeze up like that against a heavy puncher. He blew it for himself that night.

Shakur never ducked Haney he just rejected 25% and went the mandatory route which would've lead to a purse bid if agreement isnt reached between both parties, while Frank accepted all offers and a purse bid was avoided but after the contract was sent he's now quiet. To look good he's now claiming that the split wasn't right, so why didn't he got to purse bid then?He would definitely earn less than what he was offered going to purse bid while Shakur would've earned way more than what Haney was offering if it went to purse bid, but Haney vacated the belt instead of letting it go to purse bid.

You have guys talking retirement in their 20s and even many of the p4p ranked fighters are barely active. One of the few throwbacks is Canelo who stays active and fought more champs than anyone yet he gets the most hate because they think he's supposed to fight everyone who begs for a payday from 147 to 175.
