This is an amazing testimony ! However I do feel a bit uneasy regarding the husband taking this child to be his own. Did the biological father have a say? Did he want to be in that child’s life ? Was he pressured to walk away ? Did he want his son to have his name? No matter how shameful the situation, a biological father is a biological father and all the love in the world can’t change that. I really hope for this child’s sake he comes to know the truth and gets to make a decision on what establishing relationship with that man looks like. No, the perfect example is that he literally died so you can inherit the Kingdom. This is a worldly example of forgiving, accepting you were betrayed, and knowing you will never be the same. The guy looks and sounds like he’s far from over the betrayal. The counselor put the fear of God in him to keep his family together. He was basically told if he doesn’t do this, he will be seen as a failure in the eyes of God. He wasn’t disappointed in his wife, he had literal hatred for her. But since his devotion is so strong, he is doing what he was told to do to please God. Look deeper into the psychology and decipher his words, body language, and tone to get the actual story. This goes for both of them. Every interview I have seen of them, she still glows up when she speaks of the affair and its enticements.

I love the Lord and I forgive. If the biological father did not deny his responsibility why, name someone else's son your last name if he was trying to be a father to your son. Just as sure as the sun comes up, this young boy will look for his biological father and want a relationship with him, despite where anyone lives.
