Backlund was ruled "unable to continue" and sent to get medical attention. They did this a lot in Tag Team matches in the WWWF.

It's fake. They pulled their punches for so many years that the can't throw a real punch.

This whole thing was horrible Mario Savoldi normally did a great job but this was a complete cluster. The Blatant Double Teaming with NO DQ by the heels in front of the referee in a Two on One Situation was ridiculous. They could have executed this far better. I was always a fan of the Valiant's growing up but this didn't work for me.
