Bob Bergen Porky Pig Sizzle Reel

Four-time Emmy nominated actor Bob Bergen announced to his parents when he was five he wanted to be Porky Pig. His mother replied, “Honey, you can't be Porky Pig. You're Jewish." Despite this, he was determined. At fourteen he phoned Mel Blanc after researching a dozen or so phone books, crashed a recording session pretending to be Blanc's assistant, and watched the legend in action. Realizing he needed training, and for his voice to change, he began studying voiceover with every vo coach Los Angeles had to offer. Combined with two years at a Meisner acting conservatory and three years of improv study with The Groundlings, he was able to secure an agent at eighteen and pursue his dream.
He’s voiced Porky in 1000s of recording sessions, from animated features and series, to commercials, albums, toys and games, including: Tiny Toon Adventures, Space Jam, Looney
Tunes Sing Elvis, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Duck Dodgers, Bah Hummock!: A Looney Tunes Christmas, Robot Chicken, The Looney Tunes Show, New Looney Tunes, Animaniacs,
Looney Tunes Cartoons, and Bugs Bunny Builders, to name a few.

I 3000% agree with you, and I think Bob Bergen does a fantastic job as porky pig and he was born to play him and I think Mel Blanc would be extremely proud of him unfortunately it’s a shame he won’t be voicing porky in the Day The Earth blew up a Looney Tunes movie.

I heard you were the voice of Lupin the 3rd in the 1995 streamline pictures English dub of Mystery of Mamo and I'll say you are a fantastic Lupin and it sucks that you didn't voice lupin any further and the fact that you voiced porky too is a absolute treat, you have alot of talent sir, thank you for being a wonderful actor

The Three Little Pigs children's book is public domain. Disney's short is not. If WB had used the Disney character design there might be an issue? But I doubt it. Cartoon parody each other/films/tv shows all the time.
