Sorry to hear 🫂🫀 It looks like a prime example of a rebound relationship. It usually occurs shortly after a breakup, as a way to mute the pain. Normally it does not last. It can happen in stage 1 (denial) and 2 (anger) more frequently than in other stages. Please note that this is just a speculation. Only you know what happened before the rebound. I learned from my experience that there often are telltale signs that we ignored. Jordan Peterson does a masterful job in pointing that out.
