Dylan requested black sheets at the North British Hotel where he was staying in the centre of town according to an article in the Glasgow Evening Times. Apparently he wandered onto George Square across from the hotel (which is still there) to watch a demonstration of police Alsation dogs while there. Another little sequence reported was that Dylan was averse to signing autographs but had been caught having a cup of something in the hotel's dining hall by a young female fan. She went over and asked him to sign something. She was delighted when he did... though he signed the scrap of paper as... Cuppie McKennington apparently. I did try and go to his concert in Glasgow but I had next to no money then, I hadn't started to work yet and sadly didn't manage to get a ticket.

i never liked him very well. not as a human and not as a musician. when i research a bit of his life, its a proove for my intuition. but he made great songs and at least 2 outstanding albums: Pat Garret + slow train coming. when i listen to D.Lanois i still feel that Lanois is still admiring him . Although he made an album which is in my eyes deeper and fuller of life and emotion than every of Dylans: the beauty of wynona. - in this period i liked Lanois very much .-- and one thing is still in my mind: Dylan spoke about his deal with the one in power ( we have to admit it must be Satan ) - to get famous.
