How amazing is it to say you have admired and followed an artist for more than 60 years? When I was 13 I sat down with a cheap guitar and a Bob Dylan songbook and worked out how to play Don't Think Twice. To this day when someone says "play something", and I get that blank brain thing, the strings still remember that day and that song comes out. I don't think Bob ever wrote a bad one.

My late eldest brother, a huge Dylan fan, had a revelation in the mid-70s. This album, released a few years later, seemed to be right around where he had been. My brother could never shake the effects of his vision and died a while back. “A real suicide case and there was nothing I could do to stop it,” you might say.
