Good point my friend, I was surprised of how routy the audience was...I wanted to just sit and listen and sing along a bit...I LOVE Bob Dylan, he's my favorite musician, but I wish the audience had been a bit more respectful of others around them...it's okay to be noisy, but not obnoxious!

Lowell, Mass? Could it be possible that Bob did this for King of the Beats, Jack Kerouac? Kerouac's protagonist in his book, On the Road, was named Sal Paradise. Dylan sings, "I can't go to paradise no more. I killed a man back there." Kerouac wrote often about his childhood home in Lowell, and one can never return to his or her childhood home, at least not under the same circumstances. Yeah, maybe I'm reaching. But I'm allowed. Jack and Bob are both heroes of mine.

the more i listen, the more it reminds me of a catholic mass the repetition creates the power behind the service.i get what he is doing and will support his effort to do more. the thing i can't quite figure out is why? can one person really enjoy riding in a bus for hour upon hour, year after year? is it because he has nothing better to do? does he paint on the bus? can you paint or draw on a moving vehicle? i feel like i have been surrounded by a powerful tornado, getting out no time soon, sigh
