An outstanding studio session of “Bulgogi” was captured during the Jazz Trio’s recent visit to Arlington, Seattle, WA. Produced by evosound, filmed in 4k, LIVE!
This video highlights the amazing chemistry and polished performances that Bob James, Billy Kilson and Michael Palazzolo bring to every show. Finding time to film in between a hectic touring schedule, “Bulgogi” is a song off of the latest Bob James Trio album “Espresso” and is the first of a series of music videos to be released between Christmas and early 2019.
Special attention was made in the video production, filmed in 4k, to present the best quality visuals deserving of a Grammy awarded legend. This music video version of “Bulgogi” is slightly different than the album single, as it includes energized solo parts performed by each of the members, treating the audience to the jazz group’s individual talents as well as their togetherness.

If memory serves this is the Yamaha CFXIII... Bob requested and we brought it in for the session. Truly, the key to the sound of the piano is the way Bob plays it! If Bob was playing a toy piano it would still sound great!
