Elvis had an addictive personality, and I do believe he made his own choice of doing uppers to stay awake during his stint in the Army, that got him started. I also hope he was right with the Lord, as you say. I just get tired of hearing the same stuff for the last 47 years, along with all the Bob Joyce, and all the brothers lies. I'll back Elvis' legacy until I'm gone. We've pretty much heard the reasons that contributed to his death, it's really no secret, nothing will change those facts, people just don't want to accept it. I was just a kid when Elvis passed, growing up in Vegas and my mother working as a waitress in the showroom at the Hilton We knew Elvis my Brother and Sister and I did. We truly missed him. For those who think Bob Joyce is Elvis read this. Bob Joyce is NOT Elvis!!! Many things are very different. Take a good look at his eyes. Mainly the distance between them. Bob's eyes are very close together (there is a condition that causes this. Elvis's eyes are NOT close together like Bob's are - and that is one thing that can NOT be changed with surgery. Next his nose. Bob's nose shoots off his face almost strait out like Pinocchio and has a bit of an upward turn to it. Elvis's has a strait nose that does not bend upwards, and that almost comes off of his forehead at a strait angle that is almost at the same angle as his forehead and pointing more toward the ground and NOT (strait out) like Bob's nose. Under Bob's mustache is a thin upper lip as well as his lower lip is thin too. Elvis's lips were fuller and VERY distinct and nothing like Bob's. When Bob stands his upper body proportion to his legs look different than Elvis + his posture also is much different. His talking voice is nothing like Elvis. There are several physical and age differences. Although, Bob can sound very much like Elvis - especially - to those who are not hearing the indepth differences in intonations and inflection, vibraughto, etc. A briish You Tube guy (export in voice, guitars and sound analysis, (Wings of Pegasus) ( he did a voice graph comparison of Bob's and Elvis's voice, and showed how Elvis actually reaches the same note on two different octaves and vibrates between those two octave notes at the same time. Something, that no other sound likes do. Although, Bob's sounds very close to Elvis, he is nowhere close under analysis. There are other people that are closer to Elvis, like Dean Z, Ben Portsmouth, as well as a (few others). For those who continue to claim that Bob Joyce has been seen several times at Graceland - well so have nearly all the top Elvis impersonators, either to visit and many times to perform. Bob is NOT ELVIS...and that's ALL I got to say about that.
