Bob Marley has a simple natural intelligence, the kind you don't get in a classroom.

People a hope you all listen to this man who you all love so much…When him mention HIM you all don’t want to hear that but you can’t separate the man from the message….All rastas are loved until he says HIM is king of kings..then he is condemned..

He spoke mostly in Jamaican patois, not in English ! That’s why it’s so hard to dig what he says 😂

This guy keep asking Bob the same questions, in attempt to what seems like he’s trying to correlate Rasta with Crime and or contradict Bob. Bob was media trained before media training. He was true to his beliefs, never succumbing to rumor milling innuendo. They were profiling Bob very early on in his career bc he was taking the world by storm from the very beginning. To listen to these questions are nothing short of Bob’s 💜💜 I became truly annoyed by this interviewer repetitiousness. Unless he’s truly incompetent, I truly feel the 3 letter acronyms had an effect on him. .

Neville Willoughby was an amiable , even keeled , funny guy . Back then , Jamaican radio personalities had an air of professionalism and a tone similar to TV anchors nowadays , not the freewheeling style of radio personalities of this era . Most of them wouldn’t interview Bob Marley . Neville Willoughby was the rare one that interviewed Bob multiple times. I doubt that there is any another recording of Bob being interviewed around this time . This interview says much about Neville himself . Neville was also a singer who recorded music that was played on radio stations in Jamaica
