My family is from Trinidad but Bob’s music is what they would play to help me sleep when I was a baby and even now whenever I need to relax I just listen to him. Such a great man and I’m really excited to watch this movie.

I appreciated this positive review and feel this is an excellent film. I saw it opening day. It covers 13 years of Bob Marley's life. Ziggy Marley is the producer. His Father died when Ziggy was 13 years old. These are the years he remembers the events in his Father's life . The One Love Bob Marley Life Magazine Special Issue was on news stands 3 weeks before the movie was in the theater. I bought a copy. Chapters 1-4 are the details about Bob and the history of the Wailers Chapter 5 is the making of the One Love movie. Chapter 6- about Rita, Sharon, Ziggy, and Steven and other Marley family members who have kept Bob's legacy alive. Bob Marley did not have a living will. Rita had to get a lawyer to get the rights to Bob's music. The house was made into a museum. This magazine is a compliment to the film. This movie helped me to appreciate the Marley family and the Exodus album even more. I would like to see the movie again. ❤

I'm gonna see the movie tonight and I think it's gonna be a fantastic and awesome movie about the late great Bob Marley. I'm also keen to see the Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black which comes out in May this year and the Michael Jackson biopic that comes out next year.

Watched this movie yesterday and i will be going to see it a second time. I share your views totally. It is right up there with Bohemian Rhapsody. Patrons should understand that its not a biography of the great man but a snipet from when he was shot to the One Love Concert. Rita and ziggy did an admirable job of producing. The music live on!!!

I just watched the movie. I was very disappointed. Most of the time, I couldn’t understand a word said. Subtitles would have helped. The movie merely scratched the surface of Bob’s life and didn’t produce depth. You’d think the movie was made by Lifetime. I’d give the movie 2 out of 5 stars. They could have done lots better.

This movie was horrible! It’s not about how he started or anything like that .. this is BOB Marley the greatest they should have gave him the best movie ever !! This movie seems more like a TV series period!

I enjoyed the movie. I liked that it focused on his emotional and mental state as he made the album exodus. Am glad they did not spend too much time dwelling on his childhood or him and the original Wailers. These two years the movie focused on were very crucial. It shows us how he cemented his legacy and became a real international icon. I also enjoyed how Rita was his foundation and helped to keep him grounded.
