The reason why in the movie they portrayed Bob as forgiven the gunman as Jesus is because Bob was and is the True Messiah and not fictional Jesus who came 2000 years too soon. Whether the screenwriters of the movie knew this or not it was done subconsciously.

What you guys are speculating is that more people who watched it knew nothing about Bob Marley? You’re right for the most part, but this is an old story. And most of it is basic knowledge for most Jamaicans born after 1970 -1990. As much as the kids wanted to make a movie they didn’t know everything about their dad’s life themselves. Bob’s inner circle would know more than everybody else. They should come to a resolution for the full story. They’d have to consult with many people and their mother about most of it. However, with all this bickering, it’s going to be a tough sell for them to get permission to make a full movie. Definitely not a big production like this one. Maybe a documentary series. Ziggy himself said, they couldn’t be involved in everything because they were kids at the time.
