Three important members of the Upsetters were Carlton Barrett (drummer), his brother, Aston Barrett (bassist) and Alvin Seeco Patterson. Who all joined the Wailers. The Upsetters worked out of Lee Scratch Perry's, BLACK ARK RECORDING STUDIO.

Seems like it's a drum machine with some Kette drum overdubbed and Aston Barrett on bass.. Lee perry did the same on the track called rainbow country
