What amazes me about Bob Marley is what he was able to accomplish at that tender age of thirty-six years. If Jesus Christ died for our sins, I strongly believe that Bob Marley died for our dreams!!! Continue to live in perfect peace, Bob! I listen to your pain healing music religiously! You'll remain a natural mystic blowing through the air! Te amo!

As an African, the lyrics, rhythm resonate with my ancestors, taken, snatched away from their motherland, sold around the world, sold to the land, their pride taken, stolen from them and their children, listening to this song brought tears to my eyes and made throat thickens with emotion. Children weep no more, time will tell. The overlords, slave masters thought they were in heaven but they were living in hell. Root reggae of the ancestors, song of the land.

This is a SOULFUL song....The message is TOUCHING and POWERFUL.It stirs up a spirit to RESIST OPPRESSION and NEVER GIVE UP.... It gives HOPE...as it in the comfort it inspires in .... "children weep no more"! This message could inspire a REVOLUTIONARY change in any oppressive system!! It's one of my favorites👍👍

one love to you darlin ... im appreciative that life gave me the opportunity to live in Africa for 7 years back in the 1970z (now in australia ) and obviously Jamaica being another road out of Africa taken by some unconscious beings at that time ... the experience in Africa taught me a lot about respect and brotherhood as a small boy i continued to look for brotherhood into adult hood that i found in Africa but sadly Ive not found it among my own so called people , the world has changed much but remember the lessons taught to me in Africa which was when ever you pass your brother or sister in the street always greet them.... so consider your self greeted ...love respect to you and all ja people

Thank you soooo much for posting this Awesome song including the lyrics!! Never in All the years of me loving this song❤️ could I tell what Brotha' Bob was singing in the 3rd verse:. "Sold My Freedom Round The World....Sold Man To The Ground"....That Entire verse I Never Could Figure Out What He Bob was singing....And when I saw other videos with the lyrics included or even lyrics.com they would always have the wrong words. No judgement....Cause' I did'nt know the words either🤣....But I could tell that what Brotha' Bob was singing and what they had posted was wrong😁....So again thank you & much Respect Rasta'👊🏽....Shalom Brotha' Marlon🙏🏼

Been listening to Bob Marley for decades and just wondered whether this is the only track he recorded where it's been overdubbed so that in the chorus he's harmonizing with himself. On most other tracks Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer in the early years and latterly The I Threes provide backing or harmony vocals. But there are clearly two Bob voices in the chorus of Time Will Tell. If anyone out there can think of other songs he's recorded in this way, I'd be interested.
