Best of the Best! I can not help but to repeat what I said the last time you did a reaction to Bob Marley. No singer has the passion of this man! No other sings a positive message of love like Bob Marley! Bob speaks truth about problems and gives the solid truth to rectify the situation and that is love! Speaking of love Fay wonderful reaction and expressing the truth of the need for us to take people by the content of their character, and not the color of their skin, nor the choices they make out of freewill.:) ❤️😍😊❣️👍……….

Bob Marley & The Wailers dropped many "political" gems like this along the way - "Get Up, Stand Up", "Rebel Music (3 O'Clock Roadblock)", "Them Belly Full (But We Hungry)", "Burnin' and Lootin'", "Buffalo Soldier", and "Zimbabwe" among others. His performance of "Zimbabwe" in Santa Barbara in 1979 stands out in particular.

And the one about chasing those crazy baldheads out of town as well!) So as many more of his songs. When I was young I have heard the following thought: "Bob Marley wrote really simple lyrics which contained surprisingly rich meaning in it". I can no describe it any better. I'm Ukrainian. In the late february I attended reggae festival dedicated to Bob Marley's birthday. The one responsible for organise it was the guy I met one time a couple of years ago, his name was Stanislav or just Stas for short. He was a true Rastafari. He had a band called "Stan is Love", refering to his name, as you can assume. After just a few days, the 24th of February the war started, russians began their offence. And on the 27th of February he was shot dead by the russian "sabotage and reconnaissance group" (there's no direct translation of the term I could find, but I guess you'll get the idea) In the ~center of our capital city Kyiv. He was walking to the either to the underground road crossing or to the bomb shelter to play his guitar and sing, and by this he wanted to help, to fill the people with hope and strength. But he was shot, he never made it to the destination. He was killed with a guitar in his hands or on his back. He was a man who shined brightness all around. His mother is an opera singer in our main opera theatre, and Stas was the only child. He was a couple of years younger than me, so around 28 years old. Now as I've said that, please remember him and pray for him, he was THE truth. Bless you all! Let us all love eachother and be victorious over evil. I wish nothing but peace and love and strength to fight for all that to you all!

I think I know what we need. And before anyone thinks I'm crazy, I am. But right now, I know of at least three billionaires spending oodles of cash exploring the land in Greenland that has been exposed due to climate change. A modern day goldrush looking for the rare minerals that make batteries. If that can happen, then why not this. Love Boats! That is, cargo ships encouraged to bring African products to the rest of the world and supplemented for their efforts by world nations. And get nations in Africa connected on Amazon, PLEASE. We gotta give our motherland (and we all came from there way back when) an equal chance to compete. They will do the rest. That's what I think, anyway.

We stil believed in those days, that the end of colonialism would lift up our African Sisters and Brothers. Unfortunately greed, corruption and tribalism has just as debilitating grip on the people as colonialism had. My heart bleeds for you. That being said, uncle Bob is the shit! May he rest in peace.

Really one-sided trade agreements where nations can't repay their debt, and then foreign money buying politicians, has kept many African nations from their rightful prosperity. What we can do, is buy from Africa. We've got to find answers to the ridiculous shipping prices, so we can order products. Why can we in my country, the U.S., buy so much from China and shipping is next to nothing? This needs fixed! Those beautiful stores Fay has showed us on her Africa Reacts Vlog (And folks if you haven't checked it out...do so...Fay makes better documentaries than some professional shows that I have watched.) I want to order stuff! All done preaching now...but here is how we can help, buy from Africa.

@@danielbruns1675 I own business in Africa, exporting into the EU. I'm probably a little bit more cynic about the reasons for why Africa has not prospered than you.
@danielbruns16752 жыл бұрын
@@rasmichael Thanks for responding. I know the EU is not the U.S., but do you have any suggestions on finding low shipping costs?
@rasmichael2 жыл бұрын
@@danielbruns1675 As far as I know there are only very few direct flights from African Nations to the US, concentrated on the west coast (Nigeria and Ghana). I operate in Kenya and there is only one direct flight form Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to the US at this time. Only one flight (no competition) of course means freight prices will be ridicoulous. Basically the only realistic option for freight from Africa to the US would be ships and that would exclude much of what Africa can produce, namely fresh produce. You'd have to process and freeze everything and most placed do not have the facilities to do that. On top of that I don't think the US is any easier to get agricultural products into than the EU, and the EU is not easy.
@rasmichael2 жыл бұрын
What you can do though is support initiatives to build schools and further education in Africa. For that you don't need any flights, only a wallet.

I started listening to Bob Marley back in 1992. I went to Julian Marley's shows in 1994 and 2013. Also, Ziggy Marley's show in 2012. Bob's songs are so important to the planet, to the Universe. Such a positive vibe and spirituality.
