The English version! I watched this on tv and never had the sense to record it to VHS. All I've seen since were French and German. Gideon Stargrave, you are wonderful for posting this video.

Bob Morane was one of my favourite cartoon series from my childhood. I always wished to see an real live action movie. This story would be very interesting. You did it very good! ;)

thanks for posting this. As far as i know its only been screened in Canada in English version . I saw this show on German RTL outstanding animated action adventure show hope some more English dubbed episodes get posted. Only two episodes where released on DVD in France only

I'm just glad that someone else even knows what this is and is getting some enjoyment out of it! I actually just picked this up on DVD for €1 at a flea market on a recent trip to France and was surprised to find that it had an English dub. I enjoyed it so much that I'm thinking of picking up the other Bob Morane 'movie' on DVD from eBay - if I do, I'll be sure to rip, convert and post that one too! Thanks for watching and commenting, that made it all worthwhile.

I also wish there was a complete series DVD release for this, quite a cool show. I'm not sure if the entire series was dubbed in English or just the two 'movies' (which are simply compilations of episodes, if I'm not mistaken).

Yes, Gideon. I directed the English dub of the series and the movies. I'm not sure if it exists in digital format or whether there is a compilation dvd available . I'll check in with the producer and get back to you.

Whoa, that's awesome! I won't hold out much hope for an English dubbed release of the complete series, but it would be incredible. Perhaps they are just waiting for the right licensee to pick up the rights? Hmmm...

It was screened in Kuwait in English as well. It's how I watched the show as a kid.

Well, Ming ain't THAT bad a guy. Right now we could quite possibly use someone like him to save us from ourselves and the maniacs in charge we tolerated far too long. But of course that's the thing with many of these classic supervillains, back to Dr. Fu Manchu who served as inspiration for Ming and countless other supervillains (like Ras al Ghul, for example). Would it really be that bad if they won? And even if it was bad, might it not still be less bad than many likely (including in real life) alternative outcomes?
