Pure Genius. I've loved Bob & Ray since I first heard them nearly 70 years ago. "Here, Tippy, Tippy, Tippy."

Thanks for posting this show-snippet --- I'd been looking for it for over thirty years, ever since I'd heard part of it on the radio back in the late '80's! :D

Back in the '50s (bear with me, I was born in 1950), New York City had several local beers, one of which was Piel's--------From what I've read, it wasn't very good, but their television advertising campaign was a series of cartoons, with their spokesmen Bert & Harry Piel--------Bob Elliot ( the shorter one in real life) voiced Harry, a tall, balding, soft-spoken man, and Ray Goulding (the taller one in real life) voiced Harry, a short, loud, pugnacious type. The commercials were better than the beer.
