I am so grateful that Bob's shows are available on KZbin. He worked past so many snooty artists that snubbed his work. Those arrogant artists never gave a damn about whether real people liked their work. Just get a good word from some uber rich guy so their creation makes a profit. Then cry to public radio recounting this horrible experience. The last episode of This American Life podcast I listened to was dedicated to how horrific the art investment scene was. The starving artists only cared about the hot-shot billionaire who bought their works. Cried about the fact their works weren't properly enjoyed. BOO f'ing who!! All that money wasn't able to make you happy? I would buy a Bob Ross painting in a heart beat! But artists who make obscene profits for their work and complain they are unfullfilled can get over their egos and screw off. Maybe mom or dad will go into debt to coddle your fragile self esteem. Bob never did that! He never discouraged anyone! I was done with TAL at that point. Thank you to the people who make this channel available!

Boy oh boy the more time passes the more and more I appreciate this beautiful man. I appreciate the way he makes everyone laugh and smile with his perfect sense of humor, his great stories, his sayings, the sound of his voice, his beautiful advice. I appreciate little things like the way he beats his brush when he cleans it, How he speaks about his paintings as if they were truly living, the way he mixes paint , the sound of his unique gentle voice and yes definitely his hair 😄. We'll never forget him and I will always think of him fondly as a great friend. You know I became an artist myself, I like to say he had something to do with that decision in my life. I wish I could thank him personally, but I can't. I wish i could have his art with me, so I could have a piece of his oh so precious time here with us and to care for it with all my love, all my heart and cherish it forever. Since I can't have that then the next best thing is these videos, so let's support, appreciate and enjoy them forever. You will forever be loved, my friend the beautiful Bob Ross.
