I love Ms. Schnur because I had a secretary in middle school that was just like her. I watched her tackle a kid who tried to fight a teacher in 7th grade. She hated her job, but was cool with the students. Unless you tried to pull some nonsense, in which case.. God rest your soul.

She really managed to stay in touch with the youth in a way, the way she replies to Zeke, the way she talks to Louise, and her being far more swift/active than her voice and appearance makes her seem. Of course she's seen doing her job, but she's also very "pick which problem is really mine" if that makes sense. Considering the bathroom scene, it makes sense why she's inconsistent with upholding rules but can also be good at enforcing them at times.
