​@@wheels_0N_fire this one looks better, functions exactly like vanilla crops do whilst the other add on used a lot of entities for the plants. The few mobs in this are also closer to vanilla mobs, the ones in the other farming add on look a bit goofy imo.

You have to put bonemeal in the inventory of the tractor so use the fertilizer attachment. You also can trade with the birds instead of killing them to gather seeds . It’s all written down in the scroll of knowledge.

You don’t have to kill the chirping birds. You can feed them regular seeds and they will trade the news ones for you. There is a cool down I’m not sure about. But you don’t have to only murder them lol

I like this addon. If they add more cooking elements and placable food, then I don't see how the other one can compete. 🤷‍♀️

Thanks Ecko, regarding this addon; I have been on the fence. Also farming tip: dry farm land will revert to dirt and grass, to prevent this needs to be hydrated and if you plant crops on dry fram land it takes the crops a lot longer to grow. I think you said something in the first / 3rd of the video if crops grow faster in hydrated ground - they do. I can appriciate your videos you go indepth to understand the addons to see if we want them or not. Thanks again.

the "downside" you mention about being able to eat while not hungry, is just a bedrock thing. You can do the same with vanilla food items on peaceful, where you don't ever get hungry

Does anybody know if this add-on works with the other farming add-on? The reason why is one... the bucket of cheese is in both add-ons and both work the same; put a milk bucket in the oven and you get cheese. i'm wondering if it would glich out or do nothing. I'm also wondering if the tractors work with the other add-ons crops? I want to get both farming add-ons but curious if they can work together seamlessly or not.

They share the same cheese recipe, so only one will work and the game decides. The crops are currently different in how they grow, so the farming equipment will not work on the other pack. This one has better crops, but the other farming addon has more reciped and decorations, and the devs are actively working on updates. And to the other person's question, no the food can not be used to cook dishes from different addons.

There's a health bar for the tractor and bike. Does anyone know how to repair these, if possible? It don't take much, so I hope there's a way to repair them. *the fertilizer takes bonemeal, and you'll need to prepare your land. Remove grass and place water every 5 blocks to saturate your land, or it'll go back to dirt.

The tractor won’t work cause the other farms crops are entities. I found cooking milk into a bucket of cheese a problem cause both have it. But on the upside I thought determining what crops were what mod was gonna get confusing but the seeds in bobs are very easy to tell the difference from the other!

It uses entities, but the items themselves are cute and come in different color options. It also has reasonable crafting recipes. If you want blocks and entities, with more varied furniture then I'd say xp games Furniture addon is the one you want. The fruit one does have modern pieces though, like an oven, radio, tvs, and computers.

@@ecko Ah I missed that, and I actually enjoy those as well. There is only one issue I have had with this addon, the new crops can be composted, but not with use of a hopper. Your video on world edit has helped me with remodeling, when it comes to exchanging blocks for walls and floors etc. Thanks Ecko.

I don't like these types of add-ons in which vehicles are introduced or something like it or guns. Because it ruined the Minecraft experience and especially mine Minecraft experience. They take away the feeling of Minecraft. Otherwise add-on is good. But don't like why they introduced vehicles.

I don't think the vehicles are necessary either, but you don't have to use the vehicles. You can enjoy the well-made farming part of it, without worrying about the un-minecraft-y tractors and motorcycles
