Because she was being beaten by Jack Gordon, for a lot of decades in her life, and it made her traumatized when it comes to like marriage and love cause he controlled her whole life and career and physically abused her so when she tried it with Jeffrey, she really tried to give her all, but she probably didn’t feel fully ready and I’m pretty sure it was a mutual situation

Yeah, so it wasn't just me who thought that?? that was the first time he seemed so nervous or awkward. Maybe its because she is a jackson?? Alot of people do feel in awe when they meet one of them. Even tho that may not have been his first time seeing her... Never seen him so nervous around a woman. You can tell he held himself back from making one of his crude jokes. Maybe he was aware of how much she went through so he censored himself?
