They put some water down before the feature and it woke back up. Was very dry after the heats. Was dry after the feature especially on the straitaways. Turns were almost even from low to high so really no matter where you went was something. Made a good race. Shows knowing what your surface will do and take.

Not sure about top speed but last year David Gravel said something to the effect that the Posse will always win here because they're the only ones with big enough balls to run that close to the wall.

Anthony Macri is racing great again with a little struggle early on but now back to being very consistent. He just hit the $100,000 plus in earnings and did this before the month of June. Maybe the struggles early was from these new tires but they seem to have figured it out now and back on last years consistency again. The 2 PA drivers that are still surprisingly struggling are DD and especially Brent Marks. DD with only 1 win and running well some nights but having issues other nights. Brent Marks is just barely over $70,000 in earnings, which is well off of his pace from last year and behind his 2021 season as well early on. He looks great from time to time but has been inconsistent as well and seems to be struggling with these new tires from his inconsistent racing which showed last night at Port Royal Speedway. Brent Marks and the team are behind the 8 ball currently with management of these new tires but I think eventually they will get back to their normal consistent racing.

@@bedpandrinker717 Justin Peck isn't an All Stars driver this year. He probably would have been racing at Port Royal Speedway if it wasn't for the bad wreck at Bridgeport Speedway on Thursday. He probably felt like crap physically the next day and even currently. That was a nasty wreck and luckily he wasn't serious injured but he was injured enough to miss the rest of the week. Hopefully he returns soon.

Isn't Mike Wagner related to Logan Wagner? Like Logan's grandpa, or something? Funny, Logan has multiple Port Royal Track Championships. Never saw his car, not even a glimpse. Never heard Logan's name mentioned. Either night. Meanwhile, grandpa is contending for the win. Running up front. Getting more camera shine than Donald Trump. Like Bobby Allen, both nights, finishing on the podium. While Logan Schuchart never gets mentioned. Maybe Zemco picked the wrong Wagner.

@@tokeypokey Thanks for that info. Didn't know ZEMCO sold. I know the owner's name started with a Z. I think they called one of them PeeWee. And they liked to run Schnees. I agree, Logan is a solid driver. Little on the conservative side. So was his predecessor, Wolfe. I saw Logan was scored running 14th in a car #1. I assumed it was still the 1Z.

@@tokeypokey If Macri runs 80 shows/season. He ruins 40 sets of Jacob's Ladder straps. Ever notice Macri's car does something other cars don't? @ Port Royal, when he enters turn 1 on the wall, sparks come flying out the back of his car. Macri sends it in @ 75% to 100% throttle. He simultaneously fries the brake (sparks) It's an unnatural act that theoretically contradicts itself. But, the rear in-board brake is left of center section. And front brake is only on left front. Tracks with long shoots like Grove & Port, cars wing over to the left pinning LR & LF. Where both brake rotors are. Frying the brake, will turn the car. But different than a steering wheel. The brakes tug both axles to the left. Turn - Braking with hammer down gives more stable feeling and keeps chassis loaded. IMO, I think that is what Macri does different. Enabling him to walk that tight rope of adhesion, on the ragged edge, and ride the Port Royal wall better than anybody else.
