I really liked seeing some consequences of non-Force users using lightsabers. Otherwise why wouldn’t everyone have one? I honestly didn’t realize how much I missed seeing the Mandalorian until he showed up in this episode. And it was awesome to see confirmation that Paz Vizsla survived season 1. That little clear dome over the droid slot on the N1 starfighter seems perfectly Grogu-sized. That can’t be a coincidence.

I know EXACTLY what you mean when it comes to being a father. It expands your awareness of the world, and of other people in ways that someone who doesn't have kids understands. I never would have gotten onto Din's feelings towards Grogu until the last episode if I wasn't a father. I could see through those episodes how Din was changing as a person though the episodes of Mando, until at the end when Luke took Grogu with him, his eyes filled with unshed tears. His feelings and concern for Grogu is the reason why he is having trouble wielding the Darksaber. Him piloting a hot-rodded Naboo N-1 is fitting, somehow. There is NO WAY that Filoni has the stones to bring Luke in at the end of this. I would just be happy with Din and Krrsantan with a ton of cannon fodder. But there are so many possibilities now, I have to stop thinking about it before I drive myself crazy.

As soon as I saw the Naboo Starfighter I immediately thought “Fred is going to Love this”. Prime Episode 1 feels.

Welcome to fatherhood Skyman. Things like this will turn you into mush from here on out...and it's wonderful. Amazing episode...I didn't realize how much I wanted to see Din again until we saw him. I'm so ready for Mandalorian season 3 now.

I love how Mandalorian is essentially just an exploration of a "lightside" bounty hunter.

I think this one nailed it on so many levels. Filoni and Favreau know what makes good story telling and importantly are huge fans of Star Wars and know so much Star Wars lore, attention to details surrounding the storyline are unparalleled (like the escape ramp scene in begars canyon, look at the buildings the other side and compare to Ep 1...). Add in Dallas Bryce Howard and her direction makes a massively Star Wars laden episode - imagine if they did a movie! But this is better cause many episodes is more Star Wars!! No shame in a bit of emotion. Epic episode. What on earth is going to happen next?!

My friend, I'm right there with you in the feels department. I'm not as well versed in star wars lore and history as a lot of people, but I do love the Mandalorian. I don't understand all the hate for the Boba Fett show either, because I think it's great. These people have an idea in their head of who they want him to be and can't accept that he is different than they want him to be. I love the softer, animal loving Boba Fett. He still isn't afraid to kick ass as evidenced by his treatment of that Nikto gang. Anyway, I binged both seasons of the Mandalorian the other night in anticipation of this episode. I was so jazzed that they opened the show with Mando, then they stayed with him the entire episode! I really miss that show. I subscribed and look forward to the rest of your reactions. Congrats on becoming a dad! Thank you for a great video!

'Say 'ello to my 'lit'le friend.'' Which one? Grogu? Dark saber? N1? BD1? R5? TIE bombers? Boonta Eve track? Crazy watching this with your whole wall of Ep. I posters behind ya and that N1 up in the corner. N1 and X-wings in the same shot. 'It's working! It's working!' This ep. got me for the same reason it was when R2 showed up that got me in the finale: Just like R2 came rolling in and my first thought was 'Anakin,' here the chrome Nubian comes rolling out and my first thought is Padme's Nubian rolling over on its way down onto Coruscant and Padme landing with 3PO on Mustafar.

Finally found your channel, I remember first seeing you on a compilation video a year ago when Luke returned. I love your passion for SW. Ep 5 of BF seems the best by far as it connects to the very soul of what we want. Authencity counts more than ever today. The handkerchief Grogu killed me. Just the ramblings of a 50yr SW nerd.
