This definitely gives more context to Fett taking over Jabba’s Palace. Maybe he still had a grudge against the Hutt and secretly plotted to overthrow him before being thrown into the Sarlacc.

While I like that context, it retroactively makes Return of the Jedi worse. Because with the prospect of Boba wanting to overthrow Jabba being present all along, and with Boba being an opportunistic mercenary like all Bounty Hunters are, it would have made _more sense_ for him to temporarily ally himself with Luke and the others during the rescue, instead of trying to kill them. The simple fact is, he could have recognized this as the perfect opportunity to seize power. Use the battle on the Sail Barge as the perfect distraction to take-out Jabba.

Han was frozen by Ep. 5, but the comic arc being the War of the Bounty Hunters was a hard detour that led to Han being stolen and nearly auctioned off, and Vader secured him in the commotion.

Good review, horrible comic. I liked Shadows of the Empire. Fett flying up, up and away with Han in a carbonite slab. Fett not asking for more due to it being art from the Dark Lord of the Sith. The OT Boba would kick this Boba's a$$.

Very nicely put, i think that these two versions are not one in the same, Legends Boba is a pure villain, weirdly Jango is a much more complex character( Jango Fett: Open Seasons), Legends Boba is thought to be the opposite of Han, whereas Canon Boba is an anti-hero, pure example being The Mandalorian S2 and the comics now reflect this side of his as well, MTFBWY

The Empire not expending any resources to take the rebels is weird. The whole purpose of getting Han was to get Luke, nothing more. Similarly, the friends of Skywalker will also work, i.e. Leia, Lando, Chewie and the Falcon. Heck, we saw this in Empire too. Also, Leia is a big rebel leader, which makes her another target. This entire episode doenst make much sense at all over who is plotting what, its just plot twist after twist.
