Met him, Kenny Baker, and Peter Mayhew at a sci-fi toy convention in Plano, Tx in the late 90s. Got a photo of Boba Fett signed by Jeremy. As a bonus that day, also met Richard Hatch who played Apollo on the original Battlestar Galactica. He was coming into the building with drink holders. Had his hands full. I held the door open for him. All really great people.

I saw a toy figure that had a blonde guy without the helmet as boba fett. The helmet was removable. He must have been modeled after that actor and made into a figure in the early 80’s.

Not entirely true... when he says, "he's no good to me dead" he's actually played by John Morton. Jeremy Bulloch was not available that day. John Morton played Dak, Luke's co-pilot/gunner in the snow speeder scene. So yeah, you still get to see him.

I didn't know that Jeremy Bulloch had passed away. Thanks for the heads up, though 2020-21 was a crazy time and things are still being sorted out from back then. I more fondly remember Jeremy in his role of Hal, the Archer in the Doctor Who story: The Time Warrior. Its funny how today Jeremy Bulloch remembered is more for a role that was basically an extra's part rather than say his role on Doctor Who. I wonder if he ever appeared on Star Trek? If he did he did he could have boasted of doing the the equivalent of the grand Sci-Fi Trifecta.

boba was popular as a bounty hunter, not because of any shown skill or personality, marketing had more to do with his popularity than the movies tbh since he was kinda a nothing burger of a character and was still almost that same level after the whole original trilogy was over

We're not lucky to see Disney's unimaginative story board piss on the old characters. Books and toys featuring Boba Fett have been selling for the past 40+ years, and his success had literally nothing to do with Disney.
