Kakva stvar, kakav ritam, koje reči! Transfer dobre energije iz tog doba direktno u srce i dušu. Slušao sam je i 1981, slušam danas i ne verujem koliko je ovo dobro, slušaću je i đuskaću uz nju i 2081. negde u Svemiru.

Hi! Album title is called "Žur", which is a slangish word for a "Party". Every song from the album describes a different phase of a night out - from preparing for a party, to enjoying a party, to leaving from it and heading home in the morning. This song is about the magic and feelings that are encapsulated in moments of preparing for a party and being at the party. Lyrics aren't too easy both to understand and translate, so apologies for mistakes: Svetski osmeh / World-Class Smile Chills run through the body, tonight is a party The phone rings Hello Hi, Hi/Bye, Bye (+ smth unclear) There is no end to sweet chatter Yes, yes, she, Vlada and Tanya will all be there It is important to be called a hairdryer (fen? it's unclear) A fuss/frenzy is about to start and the hair will be ready in no time! A quiet corner, a feeling of closeness and friendship Total chaos, world-class smile, gentle hands, lots of noise and love like heaven/skies. To come (to a party), later than the others A charming party, a trick, then everyone is watching at her It's nice when you don't fall into a crowd and even more beautiful when the crowd squeezes you like a sponge And exactly that is a gift from heaven Feel the physical and spiritual closeness at least for a moment. A quiet corner, a feeling of closeness and friendship Total chaos, world-class smile, gentle hands, lots of noise and love like heaven/skies. If it sounds strange at some moments bare in mind that Boban likes using not-so-obvious lyrics in some songs, even if it's wrapped in a dancing disco sound. I invite you to check out more of Yugoslavian funk-disco-pop scene, there are some true gems. Boban Petrovic is one of my favourites, and he has a Hollywood-like life story as well. "Pedja Radovic" KZbin channel is a good way to dive into this genre. Enjoy :)

Bobanova muzika je dosta uticala i na muziku Olivera Mandica. Oliver se dosta ugledao na njega. Boban je ona prava urbana prica.

U opisu bi trebalo da stoji, koji su muzicari snimili kompoziciju. Sve ovo ne bi tako zvucalo, da oni nisu ucestvovali. Koliko se secam, Japanac je bio basista.

Krajem sedamdesetih, Boban Petrović je patentirao disko zvuk u Srbiji i svojim hitovima čak uspeo da skine sa lista tada neprikosnoveno „Bijelo dugme". O žurkama i parti atmosferi glavnog kreatora beogradskog klupskog života pisao je i čuveni američki „Njujork tajms".

Leto 1978. Moje prvo letovanje sa drugaricom iz Zagreba, sa 15 godina, ona 16. Internacionalni kamp u Rovinju, gde je svirao sa bendom na velikoj terasi plaze. Tada jos nisam izlazila u beogradske klubove, ali to leto na moru je bilo za pamcenje.

The title of the famous Belgrade connoisseur and mangup at the end of the 70s undoubtedly rightfully belongs to Boban Petrović. That's the kind of person that's hard to fit into any kind of framework that this city is used to. Boban or Bob, as friends and acquaintances called him, played the piano, played football as a kid in Zvezda, worked as a disc jockey, owned the first discotheques in the city, threw the best parties of that time, hung out with journalist Peca Popović, but also with "tough" city boys and always accompanied by good "chicks". Later, he starts recording records himself, and thus introduced the funky and disco style to the capital. He wrote the autobiographical rock and roll book Rokanje and eventually left the country to go into business. This kind of biography can hardly be tolerated in our climate, because in Belgrade in the seventies and eighties you could only be a rocker, a makeup artist, or a peasant. Possessing various talents, Boban Petrović tried his hand at various activities and, for the most part, he was successful in everything. When his capital became cramped, he went to the West and stayed there. He currently lives on the route Marbella-London-New York. At the end of the seventies, Boban Petrović patented the disco sound in Serbia and with his hits he even managed to remove the undisputed "Bijelo Dugme" from the list. The famous American "New York Times" also wrote about the parties and party atmosphere of the main creator of Belgrade's club life.

Odrastao sam uz ovo. Šta da kažem.... Neverovatno!!!!!!!!!!! Kao i pre 30 godina, a nadam se i za 30 godina. Boban genije. Volim što danas nisam tinejdžer, ša bi slušao!
