I was a player attendant for an NBA team and Boban was on the team that year. One day a few hours before the game he saw us other player attendants (about 9 of us) sitting in our "break area" watching another game on TV, and he walked in and asks if he can watch with us. He sat down and for like 20 minutes we just hung out and got to talk to him. Boban really is a down to earth guy, very polite and loves to chat. One of my most favorite memories.

These extremely tall players like him and Tako fall always end up being really good for limited minutes but can’t play heavy minutes because they get fatigued very quickly. Considering how good he is as a player and a teammate he would be a great pickup for any team.

To come from that terrified environment, living day to day, not knowing whether you/your family would die....and "still" have such a beautiful heart and not be tainted where you mistrust and mistreatment others but instead bring rays of sunshine, good will and good feelings wherever you go, speaks volumes about his beautiful spirit.
