The shrouds on the upper right side come with a dented shape in the rear for the key location as well.

Go find a couple of chrome lug nuts out of your old toolbox and tap them gently into the end of the handlebars with rubber cement and you good to go

The lip around the bottom of the tank....on my 950 bobber..... I gutted 6ft of an old black extension cord, cut a slit down one side, then gorilla glued the cord over that lip all the way around. Might look good here to.

Made mine a foot clutch too, but ditched it after 2 seasons. Its way more convenient to have a hand clutch and toe shift for my style of riding.

How thick is that seat? Was thinking of getting a similar seat, but don’t know if I should go for a 1” thickness or 2”. Bike looks great. Thanks!

I gotta question so the line connecting from the front break that connects to the piece in the middle of forks is that cable a single or is it a full cable connected all the way down because i was gonna change my bars out but idk what to do hopefully u understand what im trying to talk about lol
@TheColinPatrick3 ай бұрын
Don't know about your bike, but on his bike there's a single brake line that goes from the brake lever down to the triple tree, and then 2 brake lines from the triple tree to the calipers (one for each caliper). There's a hard line, basically a t-connector, on the lower triple tree connecting all the cables. If your bike is the same, and you're only changing handlebars, you should only need to replace/extend the single brake line from brake lever to triple tree. The lower 2 lines won't be affected. But if you have rubber lines from the factory still, you might as well upgrade all of them to braided steel since you'll be draining and bleeding the system anyways and steel lasts longer and is safer. Hope this helps

I have a 650 and I’d also like to lower it as much as possible, what do you think about the bobbercycle lowering kit/bar?, am I better off fabbing something myself or do you think it’ll do?, I believe it lowers it 2” at the max
@rev7garage Жыл бұрын
Wanting to keep suspension? You can easily fab yourself some lowering bones but watch out for travel. Too low and you will scrape frame for sure

I want to lower the rear of my 1100 classic as much as possible. What would you recommend? lowering/dog bone kit or weld up a hard tail strut?
@rev7garage2 жыл бұрын
Ok so I have this one lowered to the absolute max. Unlike the 650 version, there is even less ground clearance at the rear frame making it hard to take and corners, speed bumps… even train tracks I scraped I’m working on a custom setup with suspension on a customers bike. Essentially longer dog bones. Longer then you can buy on the market currently
@J.Plunkett2 жыл бұрын
@@rev7garage Keep us updated on those dog bones. I will be happy to pay for a set of custom dog bones to lower mine.
