And he not even an Aussie being born in Peekskill, NY. His father moved him and the family to Australia when he was young. I was in Australia for 3 weeks on business in 1999 It's very easy to pick up the Australian accent but it's a whole hell of a lot harder getting rid of it when you get back to the States. It took Mel almost 6 years to get rid of it.

That is such a Shane Black thing to do - to write a final joke for film fans into the script! Reminds me of the way Last Boy Scout ends.
@jameshoran82 жыл бұрын
Shane wanted Lethal Weapon to stop at the end of two with Rigg's death on the ship. Shane played Hawkins in Predator but was mostly there to help rewrite the script if needed.
@PurushaDesa2 жыл бұрын
@@jameshoran8 Apparently his original, incredibly dark script for Lethal Weapon 2 ( _Play Dirty_ ) was the proudest thing he ever wrote. However, they decided to go in a more comedy-infused direction and so much of the bleakness and tragedy was sanded down with Jo Pesci's role significantly increased.
@Bringos76 Жыл бұрын
Shane's title for Last Boy Scout was originally Die Hard. The producer took the title and used it for Die Hard.
