Fran is so sultry in the last dance at the Pan Pacific with Scott. It's truly a great performance from Tara Morice to convey Fran's journey from being overlooked, ankward and frumpy to drop dead gorgeous and confident dancer being the main attraction on center stage. It felt so well earned and deserved. I didn't even realize at the beginning of the movie going blind that she would be the main lead actress, the way she steps in from being some tertiary background comic fodder into the limelight to be the star of the show. A true underdog story and the blossom of a beautiful swan through the passion of dancing.
