This is so beautiful Claire and relaxing. Your detail of showing exactly what you are doing and how is terrific. I am subscribing even though I see you haven't made new in a year. I hope you are well and will be back.

You're welcome. Just a thought, if you wanted to make a longer length you could start the ten stick then sew into pairs to the first pinhole to roll in the same direction as working. That way you can just tie off all the ends of the ten stick and the roll when you have it as long as you want it but can work on the pennants before finishing the string. Then you could have the work on a block pillow. I hope that makes sense.

i love the ( don't know the englisch word} thingi that je have with the hole in it where your bobbins lay on and pattern under. How big is your circle/ like to make one myself

Hello Peggie, the English term is a cover cloth. This one is 40 cm across and the hole in the centre is 6.5cm diameter. I hope this helps.

Hi, I am doing the swagged version and wondering how to work the point on the ten stick swag
@Bonitocrafts4 жыл бұрын
H my goodness. I’ve just looked at my original swagged version on my beach hut pattern and notice that I worked the ten stick edge the opposite way round with the rolled edge on the top. Whoops. You have two options. You can either work it the other way round with the rolled edge on the top and the pennants hanging from the rib section. In this case just work along as you would on the straight. Or. To keep the edge as it is. Just work a blind pin (back stitch) at the point.

Thank you, I will work a blind pin, as I have already worked a rolled edge almost to the point
