Thank you so much! We appreciate the feedback. We've also filmed inside of George Washington's Mount Vernon, James Buchanan's Wheatland, and Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. Please check those out! Thanks for watching!

Thank you, cool to see it furnished. I was a preservation carpenter and worked on the restoration from July 2005-November 2007. Such a great time and project

Was that chessboard used by James madison?
@JamesMadisonsMontpelier2 жыл бұрын
Home of James Madison here! No, this chessboard did not belong to the 4th President. However, based on archaeological evidence, it is the exact same style of chessboard the former President owned! You can learn more about this chessboard and the archaeological evidence found here, kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2bMi596ep6jmZY

Great Video!!! I saw a ghost there!!!! The lady we saw on a 4th grade field trip is in one of the paintings of all the staff and people that were there, she was a maid or someone that worked in the kitchen! We saw her upstairs in the kitchen from outside in the back yard!!!!! True Story

An open letter to the state of Virginia. In accredited education in the United States of America, nobody that’s an American citizen and have some mind and sensitivity goes to a Virginia school without prior knowledge of what an advantage it might be to go through their disadvantage. The United States was put together successfully in the absence of everything Virginia could be. It does not take a substantial degree or citizen to recognize that Virginia is “a horse of a different color” in a population that is never fit the American agenda for anything today, yesterday tomorrow or forever. The year is 2024, not 1776. Virginia has absolutely nothing to do with freedom and remains a prison state today. Virginia is no good for love or money. What’s the synthetic advantage of getting near it in family, business, Law, literature, medicine, politics, history, or military.

Why was there no tour of the slavery exhibits or cabins? Certainly those are more important than the racist enslaver who owned the place, just saying..

Our next Lesson on the Road will feature nothing but the enslaved community that lived at Montpelier. Stay tuned!

Don't worry race baiter. The actual tour in person is all about diversity and inclusion, and how bad a guy madison was
