Marcelo beat Andre once to win Middleweight, then went on to the absolute div to choke out both Galvao and Cyborg Abreu on his way to the final match against Damian Maia, where he defeated Maia in a point match to win the Brazilian National Championships middle and absolute div. That's an accomplishment of truly epic proportions.

Although after watching it a few times it seems that Garcia used the fact that Galvaos arms where on one side defending against his leg, he used the leg to get unstuck and trapped Galvaos arms on one side by hugging him making it very easy for Garcia to jump on his back.
