You guys have got to look into head pressure, idiopathic intracranial hypertension. I've had this for 5 + years now. The closest I've gotten to get any relief was a chiropractor in So Cal. The pressure moves around, with tension in the neck, sinuses. It causes headaches, some balance loss, brain fog, memory loss and affects vision. In my case, it all starts in the base of the skull.

You could use an ace bandage to try & anchor the throw pillow to the non affected side! Then if you roll back on that side you are set or to stay forced on that side wedge pillows are rolled blanket behind you so you cannot roll. Thanks.

One more: I use one of those big, semi-soft exercise balls (the kind you can sit on) and lean over it on my longer side, legs stretched out and wide apart for balance, arm of the shorter side extended over my head, letting the weight of it pull and stretch the shorter side. It feels great. p.s. I have scoliosis, and even the excellent PT who taught me this stretch did not explain that the higher hip was due to shortened muscles. I've always thought it was just related to the spinal curvature. Thanks for the explanation ~ it really helps!

@stephaniecarrow4898 2 жыл бұрын
@@fyodormihaylovicdostoyevsk7856 Sorry, I don't have a picture, but it's called an exercise ball, or stability ball, or physio ball. Bob and Brad have a 10-minute workout video using this kind of ball, so you can see what it looks like. In that video, Brad actually does lean over it on one side, about 5 or so minutes in. It's not exactly the stretch, but it can give you an idea. Basically, you're curling one side of your torso around the ball (which is on the floor) with your legs stretched out and apart for balance, and the arm of the other, stretched side (not on the ball) following the arc of your body's curve. Your legs are stretched in one direction, your free arm in the opposite direction, while your side is curled around the ball (and that arm is lightly holding the ball). You should feel a wonderful stretch in your side that is not leaning across the ball. I hope this helps! 🙂

Guys…this post has prompted me to ask about adult onset scoliosis. I may have had a slight tendency for scoliosis as an adolescent, but was never treated…never had an issue…never “diagnosed” with it. But after 10 years of cancer treatment (and the accompanying fatigue, I’m definitely dealing with scoliosis and the accompanying pain. Is there any exercise I can do to either slow or reverse this issue?

For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
