He was arrested one time for humping on stage! 😄 That might be the video you saw. He was the R&B King for a minute. It's crazy seeing how dance happy he was back then, I would have never thought he'd let himself go and turn into the chubby stiff dude he is now. But, his prime can never be taken away from him, he was that dude 🔥🔥🔥

This song and the album was so HOT!! It stayed number 1 forever...So many hits on that album. It was like the Rise and Demise album of Bobby Brown. Like it shot him to the top of RnB. He was already wild and the success of this album brought it to light in a way no one could have foreseen. I love the brother. Even the album before this one, I believe it was the King of Stage. He had a couple of nice jams on there: Girlfriend, Seventeen, King Of Stage.....man...I use to play that cassette to and from summer school...LOL...Had a Spark-o-Matic cassette player, w/fast-forward only...🤣🤣🤣 Great review!! You can do this whole album!!

I won't deny that Chris Brown possesses multiple talents. However, Bobby Brown was genuinely the first artist to incorporate rapping into R&B songs, influencing many in the hip-hop scene. Notably, Mary J. Blige, Heavy D, and Queen Latifah all embraced this blend of hip hop and R&B, and it's because of Bobby. In conclusion, Bobby has the resume to prove that he should be considered the true king of hip-hop R&B. However, he has not received the recognition he deserves for his innovative contributions. Like Rick James before him, Bobby is often associated with his drug use, which is truly sad and unfair given Bobby's remarkable talent. 5:02💥

@@user-hy1iz2nt1k Also, in Bobby's Rock Wit'cha video if you listen to the voice on the phone it's a really soft voice like Janet's. I think Bobby, as he professed on BET Video Soul with Donny Simpson, was seriously sprung off of Janet Jackson in 1988-89.

@@kevinhurston1555 interesting take. however, lets not act like those exact same records would have been hits, had they been done by someone else. Bobby blew those records up to the levels that they reached. Right production, absolutely. Right artist too. but, to your point, this is exactly why artists do decide to diversify and work with other writers and producers. to prove it to themselves as well as to avoid this type of criticism.
