For the record, Whitney's brother, Michael Houston, admitted to introducing her to drugs. It was not Bobby Brown and it's time to stop blaming him. Her brother Gary also had a drug problem. Whitney was 7 years older than Bobby and had a lot more money and fame. I say this as one of Whitney Houston's most devoted fans. If anyone wants to continue investigating her life, I suggest they talk to those who knew her and find out what trauma she suffered that made her turn so strongly to drugs. In every story about a musician who turned to drugs, there is some complex heart-wrenching story. Yet when it comes to Whitney, they claim she was just a spoiled diva who couldn't stop indulging. She was so guarded, yet her voice, energy, and soul were undeniable. People are hiding the truth about Whitney to protect themselves. I would bet my bottom dollar that there is something deeply tragic in her life story that led to her drug use and self destruction.

I think it’s evident that she was a casual user but when she got with Bobby they both drove deep into their addictions and for Bobby, he managed to get out of that cycle and Whitney was never able to recover. It's clear that Bobby Brown loved Whitney Houston deeply and that their relationship was complex and multifaceted. While it's important to hear his perspective on their life together, we also need to remember that Whitney was a person with her own thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It's heartbreaking to see the toll that addiction took on both of their lives and the impact it had on their family. This video serves as a reminder of the importance of seeking help and support when struggling with addiction, and the need for better resources to combat this epidemic.

Many people blamed Bobby for introducing Whitney to cocaine. The truth is that it was her brother with whom she 1st discovered the drug. I saw him in an interview with Oprah where he openly admitted this. Whitney's mother was also on that show. To see the pain on Bobby's face when speaking of his devastating losses was too much for me to bear. His grief is heartbreaking. Thank God that he has found love again. I am comforted by the knowledge that he has a 2nd chance at being a loving husband and father.

No disrespect, but I'm going 2 speak candidly. Let me be clear...I AM a Whitney fan! She had an amazing God given gift. But, I'm so sick of ppl blaming Bobby 4 Whitney's demise. We all have this thing called free will! They BOTH CHOSE 2 indulge long before they ever met! Whitney was born into privilege & access & did exactly what she wanted 2 do! Nobody controlled her b/c she wasn't having it! Underneath her beauty, the ball gowns, wigs, and makeup, she was a tough Jersey girl. She even said in an interview that she hated the "pop princess" image Clive created 4 her. She wasn't feeling it! Her own brother admitted that HE introduced her 2 drugs, NOT Bobby! Bottom line...they BOTH battled demons before, during & after they met. They truly loved each other, but two addicts canNOT help each other get clean!! Period! We ALL have 2 live with & take responsibility 4 the choices we make. Unfortunately, the 2 of them together was a lethal cocktail. They BOTH shoulder the blame.

I know I'm 10 months late, but if I could upvote this 1000 times, I would. I agree wholeheartedly. I'm so sick of everyone running with this ideal that Whitney was just this innocent flower, until Big Bad Bobby came along and fucked her whole world up. If we're going to point fingers, then point at BOTH of them. They were both functional addicts, each coming from backgrounds that had their own level of dysfunction. That marriage was doomed from the word "go", and it was only a matter of time before it crashed and burned. People keep bringing up this physical abuse aspect, yet they conveniently forget that Whitney has admitted at least a few times that it was SHE who often struck HIM. I truly believe they loved each other too, and I truly believe they both desperately wanted it to work, but like you said; two addicts cannot help each other get clean.

They're making him the scapegoat for Whitney's passing and insane habits and it's not fair also because apparently she wasn't introduced to drugs by him. In all honesty Whitney is the one that should have been more responsible in her life for the sake of her daughter at least. Drugs are a demon that is hard to defeat however there's no one else to blame rather then Whitney herself because her dependency and addiction led both her and her little girl to death. Who knows the reason why she decided to do all of that, probably she was more upset than what she showed publicly and it's incomprehensible for us because they seem to have everything (fame, fortune, money, love). It's a sad story and there's no turning back unfortunately.

Bobby said in his book that he believes Whitney would still be here if anyone had accepted Robyn (Whitney's female partner before Bobby) into her life. He has huge regrets over that. Yes. And people still want to bad-mouth him and talk about what a horrible person he is. He is paying for any wrong he did, big time.

Bobby Brown is the Prince of Pop just like Whitney Houston said. Check out how many hits he had. Give him his credit. Leave him alone. Grown ups are accountable and responsible for their own actions.

yup I agree, its just such a shame that neither bobby or whitney could provide a safe environment for their daughter. They both had a responsibility to protect, but at least he's admitted it. Feel sorry for him...

But he couldn't admit to beating or spitting on Whitney when she was alive. He allows a foundation in his daughter's name to go defunct

He seems more levelheaded with humility compared to what he was as a young man. Even though he suffered many tragic loss of his loved ones, he is blessed to have a happy, successful life. I hope he is truly happy.

I don't believe for one second that their daughter never saw them do drugs. Doing that much drugs leads to really bad quick decisions.

Her brother and her cousin got her doing drugs ...thts why Eddie Murphy left her due to the drugs
@Carinamm_5 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t even matter who introduced her. Bottom line is she said yes then, and thousands of times after that. They wanted Whitney to be the squeaky clean girl the record label made her to be, but she wasn’t. She didn’t make great choices. Not judging her; just hate seeing people blame other people for her drug use.
