The more I listen , the more I realise Bobby Darin is the best singer the world has ever seen , or should it be heard , absolutely fantastic

The BEST rendition of this song EVER!! Bobby singing from the depths of his soul with that matchless voice!! Love him!!
@MrsMorse15 жыл бұрын
Wow, talk about singing from the soul. Incredible. With this rendition, Bobby owns this song.
@missbritt2885 жыл бұрын
one of the best covers of this song - Bobby sings the song in his own voice , and doesnt try to impersonate Ray Charles's way of singing too much - he had a deep sultry voice which is used to the greatest effect for this slow ballad .

Bobby takes a song & makes it special & better!

Wow, he was amazing in every genre he sang! What a wonderful song to hear him sing today of all days.

I agree totally that Bobby Darin is the only singer I know off that sings from the depths of his soul giving so much in his delivery. Everything he touches is total perfection 1,000 percent, a genius. Love everything he has done. Bobby is the worlds best ever all round entertainer, no one comes anywhere near close.
@MrsMorse10 жыл бұрын
This is perfection. Bobby torches this song from the depths of a soul in love despair. I think he was playing the piano as well. There's never been another to equal him; never will.

Isn't this just the best, Bobby singing a great blues number with a wonderfull piano Accompaniment!

This is one of those arrangements which is a piece of heaven for many of us by the sound of it. God only knows why Darin is still virtually unknown in Australia. This arrangement gives me goosebumps from beginning to end. I feel so justified to say that if I could only ever see/hear one singer live, it would be Bobby Darin. Yep he gets in to your core/soul/heart, or whatever that thing is that makes a lump emerge in your throat, or makes your heart feel like it's gonna jump right outta your chest, or your skin and scalp start tingling. (Usually all 3 simultaneously).

yes Lyall. while naming our gritty blue-eyed soul tunes on the group, I just listened to this again..full blast for the hood!

@@zills2 Wish I could blast this into some Toronto hoods - They might dump their idiotic hip-hop crap altogether and embrace this type of soulful blues music.

From a Kraft Music Hall special in January, 1968, this is a titanic performance by Bobby Darin with inspired piano playing by Roger Kellaway. What a gift. Thanks.

piease don't even try to compare lennon with Bobby D ,it's like the master craftsman and the schoolboy apprentice , Bobby was number 1 , to me , nobody comes close , and I'm a big Elvis fan
