Watching Carlini snatch victory from the jaws of defeat is always entertaining. He is without a doubt one of my favorites on CC. But you have to admire Morphy Bob for his great sportsmanship at the end. He is a very strong player who clearly loves the game. Bob truly is "a scholar and a gentleman".

Something a Lot of ppl forget, all players from fishers era to current have improved their game off the backs of giants… without Morphy and his innovations modern chess would’ve been stagnant until engines imo.. it’s like trying to say modern nuclear physicists didn’t build off the works of Einstein.. Morphy was the Issac Newton/ Einstein of chess..

In all sports individuals come along who are the best in their eta. I am a fan of Fisher and Morphy as well as Spassky. Right now, I like Dada.
