Comedian Bobby Lee brought up a 12 year old gripe that he had with Whitney Cummings on her Good For You podcast. Things got a little awkward and tense as Whitney took it pretty hard.

@@taotaostrong he is tortured by his past experiences. Jesus being nailed to the cross, simultaneously endured His enemies hatred, mockeries, disdain and contempt, but was not deterred in His own love for man, exemplified the power of forgiveness in that very same moment. He cried out not for vindication to the Father but rather for forgiveness. “Father, forgive them! For they know not what they do!” Let us examine our hurt filled past, for those who have wronged us, and for those we have wronged, and let us learn to forgive as Jesus Christ forgave and was not found in shame. But life was restored to Him! And life restored to me and to you and to Bobby if we forgive! Praise God :)

Bobby again says "no it was out of pity" and she doesn't respond lol. Bobby perfectly detailed the exact motives and intentions and she literally can't female her way out of it so she just sits there and takes it lol. Also, Whitney has been in hollywood for decades. She had even more power back then than she does now. She used to make fun of Podcasters and say you aren't legit if you arent in hollywood like her, now she has a pod. She laughed at all the comedians moving to Austin and now it's the comedy capital of the world.

I don't think Whitney has a victim complex. I think she's genuinely taking a back by the fact that for some weird reason she went on a podcast that someone asked her to show up to and he was rude to her the whole time And then someone who she's been friends with for years and has seen on multiple occasions randomly brings up something wrong she did from 12 years ago. Imagine if you were with one of your close friends and they started going on for a very long time about something you did over a decade ago that you barely remember You would not know how to take that. I think most people are okay with admitting something they did wrong and accepting responsibility If that thing just happened but if I've seen you multiple times and this is over a decade ago it's going to feel weird You're not going to just readily accept the fact that someone is really hurt about this. So she was honestly probably confused and felt like why in the hell is he bringing up the story to make me feel bad about something that happened where we saw each other numerous times afterwards and you never mentioned it. And if all of these conversations are taking place on live microphones you might doubt the people's intention behind saying it. I think Bobby might have genuinely brought it up because it just popped in his head and he decided to make a joke of it but he played it too well and too long to where it started to feel personal. I'm by the time he realized that he had already made things uncomfortable. Whitney probably was very hard to deal with at the time, She had like two shows She was like a regular on Chelsea handler at the time so she was hot in the industry and was busy as hell It probably had an effect on her. When you feel like you're that guy sometimes the things you say and do come off a way. I think she did learn from that cuz she's not that way today really.

It should be noted that the timeframe for male and female comics in the industry is completely different. Male comics only start to get good after 10 years, at that same point, female comics start to decline in their appeal to the industry. Bobby is such a miserable person. I honestly feel bad for Whitney nowadays. She can’t win with these sad comedians no matter what she does

Dont even compare Bobby with Shultz. Bobby is joking + honest but the other guy was just condescending and disrespecting Whitney. That episode was just unbearable.

What is his complaint? She’s not obligated to do anything. Bobby’s not funny and he’s been in the business a lot longer than Whitney. If he deserved an audition/part, he’d have gotten it on his own merit. At worst, she set something up to make him feel better…

Whitney and Bobby have a lot in common; they both double down on entertaining brogan mansphere demographic. She should curate a woman following and he should be doing less asian jokes for wyts. They're doing things the jurassic way like its the 80s, diversity is the new way and They're still in an old mindset

She's in such a denial. Full of bs. Maybe she wants to see herself as the victim because she's so awful as a person.

After everything that came out about the things Bobby Lee has done and said, Whitney Cummings is one of the least shitty person out of this whole situation.

IT'S CRAZY THE ONLY THING WHITNEY CAN DO FOR WHAT SHE THINKS IS HUMOR IS TALK ABOUT WHAT'S BETWEEN HER LEGS OR SHOW YOU A BABY COMING FROM BETWEEN HER LEGS AND SHE THINKS IT'S COMEDY

Whitney basically wasn’t good enough to get a show, that fast. It wasn’t envy from other comedians it was a surprising WTF! Slap in the face to seasoned, more experienced comedians, from all walks of life that obviously had plenty of years on her, yet not one show. So the “serendipitous” nature of how she got the greatest opportunity was questionable as asking, is it any wonder she’s never done any other TV show?

Though, I think, because they run in the same circles and her friends are his friends and vice versa, those very friends may have been hyped to get a chance to read for the part, inadvertently triggering Bobby as to why he didn’t get the chance to read for, out of pity and kindness she just did him wrong for what she perceived as doing the right thing. Though her comedy is pretty much on the same level as Bobby, though she’s more personable.
