My four sons and I are so in "love" with Bobby!!! All of them are now musicians in bands and often 'revert' to Bobby's original sound of guitar and the tapping of it to produce a drum-like, awesome; original sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The truely Divine, the utterly Miraculous does not speak to Us. Rather, It speaks, and it Sings THROUGH us, wrapped in the timbre and vibrato of the fragile Human voice, sounding very often indistinguishable from our parents Cradle Songs....

This is so good, as is all of what Bobby does. The album Vocabularies is a masterpiece.

some have compared this work to the studio 'perfection' of Steely Dan... it is a remarkable piece of work - and continues to satisfy with repeated listening...

I remember this song on Disney over 20 years ago. Did he do an updated version or something?

Jazz is an open evolving format, that prizes inspiration variation and a new reiteration 0f musical themes. So its not really an updating of the song, its evolving it as if it were a living, breathing and temporal thing. Which makes it as a creative act perhaps the most powerful of endeavours....and results in such as we call Magic....
