This works every time. I've seen so many concerts of Bobby and I even sing with him once during one of his concert in Paris. All invited singers are generally real artists in life, they often can sing well and it works almost every time. This man is a blessing for this. I wish every human being can sing on stage with him, it brings peace, joy and eternal souvenir...

@@yassinsuleiman655 Because I had the great honor to share the stage with him once, It was in 2010, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, that was extraordinary. I was not the only one, about ten people went up on stage that night and they were all professional artists, like I am too. None of us were afraid by the time. I was lucky to be chosen and I wish everyone could live that experience in life. It's wonderful, a kinda thnig you can't never forget. ;)

@@yassinsuleiman655 You're right. Everyone of them is not meant to go on stage, but each time it happens, these are professional artists. It's logical in a way. Artists are used to be in front of an audience, and they have no fear at all, so when Bobby ask, as he does generally speaking in almost all his concerts, people to come with him and sing, they are the first to stand up from their chair and run on stage...

I love how he introduces a beat with the second one; it forces the other guy to change up his style, go into Bobby's pace and then switch it back up again when the guy gets in his comfort zone.

c medeiros is correct. Not a C7aug5. That would have had a very dissonant and almost minor sound (despite being augmented). It is just a standard C major arpeggio (CEGC) but he began with the M7 that he has moved to as a neighbor tone before the arpeggio started. Basically it was a suspended neighbor tone.

In India we call this kind of playful competing "jugalbandi" but it's limited to 2 or 3 specialists showing off their variations and mastery in one instrument. This, OTOH, is a whole new level. Amazing. They should pick up this idea and make it a prime time competition format or something.
