I saw Bobby at Springin’ the Blues in Jacksonville Beach years ago. I go every year and without a doubt, Bobby Rush was THE BEST performer that ever played that festival. Thank you sir, for such a great performance.

danae hawkins my daughter's father who was Bobby's friend, died feb13 2017, Bobby called,a couple of days before the funeral and said he was sending his sister, Gordie because he couldn't get out of his engagement. when he called he was at the Grammys, and he won, so it was not when you said it was. last time I heard from him was during this last past holidays. he wished us happy holidays.
