Although, it was a lot of information, I found that the narrator was all over the place. The fact that BW was blamed and scrutinized for marrying Sam Cookes wife was totally ridiculous, she was the adult, BW was still considered a child and couldn’t even get married to her, and also he was wrong for sleeping with his stepdaughter on all levels, but again he was 25 and she was 18. He was still a boy who was coerced into marrying a grown woman and he had not grown up, that’s why he made some of the music he did expressing his feelings about his downfalls. Sam Cooks wife didn’t allow Bobby to grow up before she snatched him up, she didn’t even give him a chance to experience life. Anyways, thanks for the info, but people pay attention to the facts and learn to analyze the truth in all aspects of the story.

What are you upset about? This was not a bad piece about Bobby Womack. It actually showcased his life, specifically his life as a music artist. I learned so much about this man that I didn't know. He was truly talented and had a more extensive music career than I knew about. Yes he had some family drama that was also brought out but it wasn't to trash his name or legacy. It was a part of his family life and his personal life is not off limits when it's in the news. When you're a music artist with a career that long, you're gonna have some issues either in personal or business life. Drugs, Marriages infidelity and broken friendships are gonna be an imprint woven into the fabric of that person. Both Bobby Womack and Sam Cooke are dead but their legacies remain intact. Their music is still beloved today as much as it was during their active music career years. Both families should be proud to carry their last names. All families have mess, some more than others but it's how you persevere when the drama is over. It's sad that Sam Cooke died early but his music is still very much loved. Bobby Womack kept going despite the drama and bad decisions, but they were HIS personal decisions to make. His personal life did not influence nor interfere with his music career. He kept it moving. I enjoyed this short documentary and don't have a bad opinion about him. He was and still is LEGENDARY.

I love documentaries, however, I was expecting the narrator to get the points and an interview with the daughter. The narrator talks too slowly to keep my interest. This is not a good documentary.
