We owned and own several Mazda's and I can confirm, that it is not the brand if you are looking for the best practicality. Mazda makes cars for people who loves style and driving experience. We own 2 Mazda CX-5 Diesel (2016 and 2017 model) and I could drive the Honda CR-V Diesel for a week. The Honda is and feel bigger inside, but the engine/transmissions combination is not so smooth and pleasant to drive as the Mazda and it looks and feels cheaper inside.

been using mazda 6 for couple of years and its a drivers car AND practical...they can do both...i think they didnt make a wise choice with this one , its sacrificed in too many areas to achieve a sporty drive,and any golf/jetta will eat it alive ,more power , more space even though with full independent suspension...this mazda 3 ends up to be master of none u can say...a sporty look , plush materials will not hide the disappointed that the whole car ends up to be...we might excuse it if the price is so super competitive , but,well , its priced obscenely ...

This is my first time watching your video. I have to say I’m really surprised that you are a real driver that really appreciate all the tiny details that normal people don’t really see. Good review, even without testing the car I can already feel the premium of this car. Mazda is a car for driver, bad for passengers. If you looking for driving experience, Mazda. If you want to find a car for your kids to fool around, Honda(a legroom emphasised car) lol.

They never mention using torsion beam to make more leg room at rear. They just informed at launch that it is easier for them to setup the torsion beam to decrease NVH that the most priority when design.

i think was done for cost savings considering that cars are beginning to give way to suv's and crossovers, however i feel in stock form the tune seems to be adequate comfort wise but i wont recommend enthusiast to install lowering springs etc as it will start to show its weakness ..at the price Mazda is asking for them at the moment i feel its kinda expensive..

I think they don't put metallic surrounds around the ignition button is because of the design. Having a standalone ring there would look odd and disturbs it imo

It feel like an expensive car becoz it is an expensive car... 😂 love the liftback version tho... Too bad 170k+ for this size is just too unpractical for my current situation. (Starting a family)
@dcpln75 жыл бұрын
@edmund wong ya... But that torsion beam is thicker at right and left, the middle is less thicker.. So it will allow some flex between right and left tyres. But still la, preference lo...😂 like what he said, not for everyone, but this car damn sexy... Saw few on the road ady... Rich siaa...
@dcpln75 жыл бұрын
@edmund wong true, but i tot premium price, smaller car in the same segment always Mazda way? Btw i am that type of person if i know the price is due to CBU, Tax, Currency, not becoz of the cost of making the car, then i wont pay for it ady. I just hope few years later, get a 2nd hand one for daily😂 Still have to actually test drive it and sit inside to feel that premium worth it or not tho...
@dcpln75 жыл бұрын
@edmund wong 2014 c seg 137k? Already way higher than competitor, and mazda cabin space memang smaller compare to others. I think they also know it wont really sell one... Just to make a statement and want to push their brand higher. U see kia intro stinger in malaysia almost 400k, how many of us will spend that on a kia... Sometime they just want to make a statement.
@dcpln75 жыл бұрын
@edmund wong Myvi memang BEST! Haha... One thing i not really agree on this beside the price is also performance... Like what u said 160k but not really a fast car. It is just a fun car to drive... And fun is a very subjective thing... But Mazda always has their own fan base... They are not targeting the mainstream buyer. 170k, i'll go for Optima GT. Currently driving forte for 6 years... Loving it everyday..😁

The Civic center console panel is made of hard plastic. 🤔. Don't know why Honda is cutting cost on this section. The moulding lines where the lower side meets the upper panel of the dash is very rough and jutting. My left knee feels the moulding line and sored after a long drive outstation. I glued a circular rubber pad on the point where my knee rest. Even the front passenger side has the pad. Tall drivers will feel the rough moulding line.

Bobby, do you know why Mazda chose 16 or 18 inch wheels only? 16 look too small and 18 make the ride a bit too hard. 17 would be a great compromise. Will be test driving the hatch very soon.

17 tyres very hard to find already, cars these days are big, 18 should be fine. it wont be for long before 17 inch tyres become more expensive than 18s due to rarity

Would u mind explain what they mean FREE... 100,000km/5 years is quite a long time... If everything is free, meaning i just have to send my car to SC without paying anything everytime? There must be a catch...

Bro, the first thing you should report to your viewers upon opening the door is: are the seat coverings real leather or are they PVC? I have a CX3 and even after sticking top-end 3M tint films, the car's interior is still very, very crazy hot even after running it for 1/2 hour. I think car companies should offer a fabric option instead of PVC. Simply put, PVC retains heat.

2 thing they fail on this car design, first , the passenger aircon vent position are too low, if your height are 155 above, the vent will blow your knee, second, the center armrest they shuld make like benz, open on middle instead of slide back to open.

For the price Mazda is asking for this car, it's an expensive vehicle for its class and segment given the fact that it has a torsion beam suspension set up at the back and a minimalist design interior that looks rather bland. As a package, it's nowhere near the Civic, bar the interior materials.
