Struggled with that for a long time and it can just completely remove you from your own life if you don't deal with it. It's always nice to not feel so alone on something that makes you feel absolutely isolated.

I had depression as a child. Treatment in a specialized facility worked but as a side effect I developed anxiety that got worse at night. I went through years and years of therapy and meds. No child should go through that bs, but today I'm almost completely anxiety-free. Still I might get some flashes of anxiety, which kinda scares me. But there is hope, with treatment you can beat depression and banish anxiety back into the shadows.

You can use the trick of using cured resin sticks as the supports for things you want to appear suspended in the resin. Just make use the same resin as the one you plan to use for the fill so that they have the same refractive index, and blend in with the fill.

@@mj-sw2nh The biggest concern of mine is the fact that many, many of their "mental health professionals" are in fact, unlicensed people that resemble life coaches more than therapists in any way, shape or form. They're completely unregulated, too. Secondly, and I don't think they're still using this as one of their selling points, but the whole "contact your therapist at any time" thing is highly unethical, as it can, and in some cases *will* , lead to patients feeling dependency towards their therapist. That's why there's no such thing as "my tharapist is my friend" or "i'm friends with my patient!", as it's illegal in most countries due to the risk it poses for both parties. Third, betterhelp sells customer data for comercial purposes, having been fined for ~$7M by the FTC some time ago. Lastly, there's a youtuber who's an actual therapist who spoke against them and critized their practices, and betterhelp started censoring her and taking down her videos so yeah.

@@yourlocalpunkkid6136 Terrible advice. Only three things matter: 1. Admitting to yourself you have a problem. 2. Opening up to others so they understand the problem. 3. Working through the problem. How you do that is going to vary individual to individual. My now partner was in a toxic relationship, struggles with trust, worries load and suffers anxiety. It didn't matter what I said, she had to figure it out for herself, but when she did, all it needed was my support. She's come on leaps and bounds, but for every 3 steps forward it doesn't take much to knock her back 2 steps - it's a long, slow process, but it needs to be, otherwise you're probably in denial about it.

What totally cured me of anxiety and full blown panic attacks was, I listened to an emergency doctor when I was stuck in a severe anxiety attack for 3 days. I couldn't eat or even drink and lost 15 lbs in those 3 days, bringing me to under 100 lbs. So off to the emergence to see if they could give me something. He didn't give me anything except advice. Stop all caffeine intake and go easy on sugar. So no coffee, no chocolate, no dark soft drinks/pop, and definitely no energy drinks. After about a week or so I was totally cured. Even my heart palpatation completely stopped and so did my nightmares, when I used to get at least 2 a night. I had even stopped dreaming. Found out coffee also makes you dream. I'm not saying this is a cure for everyone or that this is the cause of everyone's anxiety, but it couldn't hurt to give it a try. It's been over 10 years now without an attack.

I’m so glad that you’re doing better! But I feel like the sponsor should’ve been a different one because I heard Better Help is hurting people more then actually helping them-

Don't you dare be sorry. If you are sorry for your weird, I have to be sorry for mine! You have to be one of the most relatable people I've found. I love your creative weirdness that brings beautiful things into this world! You keep doing you!

Hey Bobby, I've actually heard that better help doesn't really check if their therapists are truly licensed...I've heard negative things coming from people, Idk if it's just a false rumor...but maybe look into it just incase? I know you've found help with it--and I'm happy you have found a therapist that has helped you with your problems... ...but again, I have heard less than nice things from others about better help...again, no disrespect or saying that this is you making up your experience...and I know you really do want to help others like how you were helped...but...I've heard things on other channels, so...I'm not sure if it's true or not...I hope not.

That came out crystal clear. Whatever the secret secretions of the turtles are, they're impressive.

There's so many raisins I love Bobby. Being open about mental health and encouraging people to seek help is one of the biggest raisins. Raisin sculptures are another raisin. Being ridiculously good at making creative videos that speak to me on a molecular level is also one. there's more, but I can tell you grow increasingly weary, so I'll leave it at that...

I had forgotten what your channel name was (it’s been awhile) so I just typed in “wewd” and your channel popped up. It was honestly amazing how easy it was.

Greetings BD! Firstly, I need to say: That I have been stirred (via your content) it wells from the bottom of my heart and rises up past my crown to overflow my vessel. Its a feeling of immense gratitude I have for your hard work of bootstrapping forward and shining through the vast sea of vapid banality. You are such a cheeky charming character. You're clearly a creative force of nature, with quality content that blasts away the blues of boredom. The ratio of wit, ingenuity, sarcasm, and gung ho gumption is balanced out with an openness that is both inviting and comforting. And it is for that very reason that I say Thank you and Salute you I do!

Brotha you are a real G. I’m proud of you and I’m inspired by the raw openness of telling us about your struggles. I don’t know the details for you but I’ve been close to ending it a few times so I can relate in some way to impending doom. You are hilarious and so gifted. I love your projects. Keep up the good work Bobby!

You really inspired me in my pottery classes. After I moved across the continent I can't throw anymore (my new school is weird) so I had to start hand sculpting and I've started making fun creative things. Once when I was making cupped hands I thought repeatedly, "what would Bobby do?" and tried to figure out how to rough it out based on how you sculpt. (Didn't quite come out like I wanted it but I'm still fond of it.)

Not the betterhelp sponsorship 😢 please look up your sponsors before accepting their offer. They have sold client information to companies like facebook to target more clients...

thank you for talking so candidly about mental health and how it effects you. i was thinking "man this guy is living the neurodivergent/adhd dream, completely and unapologetically himself" and then you talked about your struggles with anxiety, and im currently in that struggle. im trying to get help, but wanting help and actually getting help has turned out to be quite the struggle for me. its one thing for people to say "it gets better" or "ive been there and it gets better" and another to see someone who feels so. human? personal? like me? actually talk about their struggles, how it affected them, and then how it really does get better. to see that better, but not perfect. to understand what comes next, what is possible, what you can do. thank you for that

I adore what you do Bobby and I 1000% support getting the help needed to leave such horrible heads spaces, but please consider the risk you're putting your followers in by promoting the scam business that is Better Help. They have a horrifying track record with countless patients and terrifying experiences that could have been easily avoided, but the company doesn't seem to be doing anything to fix things. Please please please don't promote their name :(

What are some of the stories?
@ivoryphoenix7 Жыл бұрын
@@HMMC101 BetterHelp faced a lawsuit for selling users’ personal health information to social media companies for advertising. People have also complained about being paired with a therapist that treated them poorly, ranging from being careless or inconsiderate towards them to victim-blaming them for the trauma they’re there to talk about. It has been mentioned that bad therapy can occur in-person too and people have had decent experiences on BetterHelp but, especially with their handling of users’ health data, what I’ve heard about them has made me wary enough to pursue other options instead.

@overanimated626 - and how do you know this??

This is not true. There are no “stories” out there. I actually used BetterHelp and my therapist was great.
