I'm proud of these two PH teams! First NRX and now Blacklist. I remember the time when NRX beat NUAA (underdog team that represented 🇵🇭 in CGI) with a comeback in Summit. As much as I am proud of NRX, I also felt bad that a PH team needs to go cuz NUAA is so good not only in gunfights but also in stategic gameplays. Even Mustachio said that NUAA is close to the IQ plays of AMT. I guess they took that comeback loss to heart so I was expecting that at least they will redeem themselves next tournament. I was wrong, the team didn't but I was right, Skerd did. CODM EASTERN FINALS MVP with two championships in BLCK. And might as well Skerd did it for his former teammates in NUAA. It shows that no matter how hard you have fallen, you can always improve, get back up and come back stronger! A lesson not just in CODM but in life! On a serious note, congrats Blacklist and gg to Omega! Hope to see more Filipino players dominate CODM! 🇵🇭

Nrx/omega players said they weren't really focusing much on codm these days they were switching between games such as valorant and stuff. Fun fact is that before this tournament, they were on hiatus for like 2 months on codm and just finished their first scrim just a week prior to this. So we couldn't really tell if this was their full potential at getting their revenge on blacklist.

People who think omg are just losing because they don't focus much on codm and has no practice are delusional. In the PH qualifier they were 15-0 against all other teams until they met blacklist in the bracket who destroyed them twice, 3-0 and 3-1. In this PH invitational omg 3-0ed fantasma and 3-1ed PDR. This means they still had it and gave it their best but BL is just on another level. Also in the garena championship they had lackluster performance. It is disrespectful to other teams to say that omg are not serious. It's like saying they can just beat anyone if they want to and when they lose can just say ehh we're not serious lol. Enough of the lame excuses omg fanboys. Accept the fact that BL has just improved a lot and omg can't keep up. Give the credit where it is due. BL are the KINGS rn.

They have the talent from all that experience of pro scrims and tourna but they just didn't focus more practicing and improving more than what they are right now, I think they are just stuck unlike blck who is getting better and better and rn one of the best if not the best team in the world. OMG literally stick to the playstyle that works for them last year, they don't change anything else until now, thier gameplay is very outdated (prolly lack of practice), it's very disappointing cuz almost every Filipino that play CODM support them, but enough with the reasons, if your a pro player or even a athlete you need to train/practice to become better, OMG didn't do thier part as a pro, that's why they always lose to guys that workhard like Skerd, Heaven, JaBen, DG Jetsky, this is literally the guys that NRX/OMG always beat before but these guys Grind thier way to the top until they surpassed the whole OMG Team

For me, Omega (formerly known as NRX Jeremiah 29:11) is still quite strong, but not as strong as they were before. Blacklist has already proven that they are the "New Kings of the Philippines" as Mustaschio puts it. OMG isn't the best team from what we are seeing right now, but they sure did make the Filipinos proud as NRX Jeremiah 29:11. P.S. I still quite miss the hype that Mustaschio gives us every time that Woopiiee hits nasty shots. AJ's energy is on a much higher level on those occasions.

Crush has been a big disappointment if I'm being honest. He was the reason I fell in love with shotguns. But after multiple nerfs to movement he still hasnt changed his playstyle. He may have god tier movement when matched up against rank grinders, but in pro tournas you cant just rely on zigzagging his way to win gunfights. Crush has good movement, but it cant work in the pro scene if he doesnt have good aim. Clove, sh4d4p, Thekissx are all superior to him becahse their movements are so simple but their aim is so on point. Crush' role for nrx is the slayer, but he hasnt been slaying, he's the one getting slayed. Even Jayzee, at 24 or 25, i guess he's way past his prime at being a pro player.

Since my Eastern championships predictions were so damn close, I’m gonna put it down here again. Next year Garena championships will be a game changer with new faces in the scene. Indonesia will see a massive change in the scene - and DG will struggle to maintain at the top. PH Blacklist will be still dominating. Thailand teams will perform better than this year, and they may upset a few teams. AMT and Sem9 will remain dominant in the MYSG region.

They have dev1ce, and they have an entire big org backing them up. Even before kyaaah's death, NRX was already struggling keeping up pace in CGI. Their motto was even #ParaKayKyaaah which translates "For kyaaah" It's hard to admit, but omega got complacent, and they didnt improve. Even Crush' brother admits crush doesnt grind as hard in scrims anymore

Omega give their best even though they not give much time in Codm but we can say that Black list is just the better team they beat Omega in Philippine Qualifiers and The Garena Qualifiers so it's not a proper reason to say that they don't give much time Codm because they beat them later on Philippine Qualifiers and when they where active in scrims

Kensh1 and Flex were under VVV eSports that’s why due to Yato and Yobabs under age so they won Stage 5 and still won. next year they can play since they both born 2004 and able to have a chance to shine. Hats off also to AMT that didn’t change roster and improve. Blacklist we didn’t expect that win at Stage 5 since top 3 at Garena regional playoffs already. Glad to see Garena Team making it to the top 2 in Eastern Regional final. Garena pride and respect to both teams 🇸🇬🇵🇭

If people look past their old tournas even starting from CGI, NRX/Omega was losing all their gun fights. Literally check their K/d and you can ask yourself if nrx/omg improved mechanically. Most of their comeback wins were the result of them being smart, and persistent in doing the obj, not because they were superior in gun fights. Blacklist is both, that's why they won worlds. I've been an NRX fan even during their ROS days, but OMG/NRX is no longer the best, and doesnt have the drive anymore to be the best. If you watch and ask Crush's brother, Hatdog, he'll tell you on stream that NRX scrimmed 6-8 hrs a day back then, not including their 3-4 hr solo rank grind. After the first worlds got cancelled they became complacent. They focused more on being streamers than pro players, since I dont blame them, they make way more money of subs without trying as hard to practice night in/out just to get money in tournas. Pro scene in garena is dying. In 2020 we had PH nationals, PPGL (April), Garena invitationals, ESL, PH qualifiers, MSP Major, Smart Codm tourna, PPGL (december). Now in 2021, there was only PH champs, and Garena qualifiers. Garena qualifiers didnt even have money unlike the previous year. Codm is stupid not prioritizing Garena and India where pubgm and free fire dominate the esports scene. Woopiiee has 800k followers, if he announces that he's quitting, it's for sure a few thousand will follow him. Not saying the game is dying, but one of its pillars, that being pro play, is dying

@@archduke5273 The Philippines had 9 major tournaments in 2020 alone, that's only for the Philippines, not including every other local comp for the local teams - Codm nationals champs - Codm ph champs - ESL - MSP - PH invitational - PPGL (april) - PPGL (december) - ESGS (2020) - Smart codm tournament Now, in 2021 there have all been 3 Majorly organized tournaments, that being - ESGS (as youve said) - PH champs - PH invitationals PPGL, ESL, nor Smart didnt even bother giving codm a tourna, why is that? When the game is getting popular and viewership is increasing, the only people you can blame is garena. They're the ones who should be open to giving out prize pools and collaborating with Gaming companies to sponsor tournaments for them, but they're not doing it. Compared to Masters in NA, where the prizepool was like $40k usd, in the entire year of 2021 in PH codm, the prizepool was only $18k usd for ph champs, and $5k usd for ph invi, and another $5k usd for esgs. That's pretty small for countries that treat esports as an actual career. China had 450k in it's first ever major, thats more than all garena tournaments ever combined.

I hate to say it but NRX(Omega) era is slowly fading. Nrx was most dominant when Kyaaaahhh was their coach making NRX the comback kings of garena. They had an amazing start with Dev1ce as the new coach being undefeated in the PH qualifiers until the grand finals but got beat by Ultimate E-pro(BLCK) which is now being coached by Image(also tribe gaming Coach). But I am not loosing hope in Omega to take back the Crown as Garena Kings. Let's hope next year Omega will bounce back!

NRX/Omega is still one of the best teams in the Philippines and will still be competitive in Garena. Unfortunately for them, Blacklist is one of the best teams in the world, if not the best. I honestly can’t remember how or why Blacklist lost to Omega in the early stages of the playoffs in the PH champs early this year lol.

The people who still believe that Omega is still the best team are just fans because of nostalgia. Same thing happened to Navi in dota 2, they were a great team for a while but not the best consistently that always land in second place in the following TIs (just like omega getting second place in the PH twice).
