Faith and believing and reading the word. And believing for things that we don’t see now that by faith, we know will happen. God’s word is like a compass , it shows us how to live, and what to think. God’s word promises that , “we will know the truth and the truth will set us free.” I’m believing for great and mighty things that I knew not. This is a great word, and a great reminder for us, to stay in the word, and believe for the impossible. I’m praying for your ministry, because it’s such a blessing. I would like to encourage others to read habbakuk chapter 1. In the midst of turmoil, it encourages us that we should look at the nations and watch, because God is getting ready to do something so great in our day that we would not believe it , if he were to tell us. Amen.

Amazing sermon which comes at the right timing. As a career I am recently struggling with taking care of my dad who has illnesses from time to time and I start to get anxiety and depression for that. This sermon reminds me to have faith in God and believe in his promises. Also the principles in different aspects of life. I now pray that my dad will be healed and we are blessed with God’s abundance and joy. Amen.

I am disappointed with this sort of talk, and I'm disappointed also, because your sermons used to have a broader vocabulary and more depth. On your last trip to Israel, you made some bold statements about sick and disabled people. Today, you've taken more time, and in fact gone overtime to ram home your "believe it and receive it" message. I've written about being a full-time carer for my disabled wife before. Let's put this to one side for now. How about my church friend - a devout Christian, a wife, and a mother of two young children. Tragically, she died with cancer at the age of just 42. It *was* a mystery as to why she didn't receive her miracle. I am sick of hearing the Pentecostal style "..if you believe it.." messages. You're better than that. Well, you've preached better than that in the past. Life, and faith is more complex and nuanced than that. Some of the most devout Christians I've known have/had lived with health problems. They don't/didn't like living with their conditions, but they consider/ed their momentary afflictions light, compared with the eternal weight of glory. By His bodily wounds, we have been inwardly healed. And if we receive a physical miracle in this life, all glory to God. And if we limp, not unlike Jacob (Israel) through this life and receive different blessings, all glory to God. But I'm not sticking around to listen to any more of these types of sermons again.
